OOO SO Good!!
Made 4 pies for a family get together, and it was all gone in a matter of minutes. Everyone raved and wanted the recipe. If you know some one who loves chocolate this will be a big hit!!

my husbands deja vu
My husband used to work at this reasturant in mississippi when he was younger, this chocolate pie used to come in every morning and went to the frig, he would go sneak a peice everyday. When he left mississippi he thought it was chocolate chess pie ,so he has been looking for this pie for about 20 years or so. I tried cooking pies apox everyone I could find, no luck until I ran into this one I made it for him, his eyes just closed and he was 17 again back in the walk in frig at the restarant trying to get the pie finished before he was caught. Awesome thanks for bringing that memory back .

Nothing Special
Easy to make and no problem setting but to me, this recipe lacks something. I love chocolate but something was missing. I won't make this again. I would rather put forth more effort and be rewarded with exceptional flavor. Easy isn't always a plus for me.

for the disappointed
my co-worker brought this in to share...heaven! i had to have the recipe. well, my pie didnt set either. after about 8hrs i figured i have nothing to lose so i scooped the mixture back into the saucepan, very low heat and stirred for another ten mins. never allow to boil. poured it back into the crust and back in the fridge. voila!
