NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Morsels
24
hard peppermint candies, unwrapped
LINE baking sheet with wax paper.
MICROWAVE morsels in medium, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; STIR. Morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10- to 15-second intervals, stirring just until morsels are melted.
PLACE peppermint candies in heavy-duty plastic bag. Crush candies using rolling pin or other heavy object. While holding strainer over melted morsels, pour crushed candy into strainer. Shake to release all small candy pieces; reserve larger candy pieces. Stir morsel-peppermint mixture.
SPREAD mixture to desired thickness on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with reserved candy pieces; press in lightly. Let stand for about 1 hour or until firm. Break into pieces. Recipe makes 1 pound of candy. Store in airtight container at room temperature.

soooo good!!
Now there is no waiting for the holidays to enjoy this wonderful peppermint bark. This recipe is quick and easy and can be prepared anytime. I keep the bark in a closed container in the refrigerator for that extra umph!! Also like the idea of cinnamon candies. Thanks for such a great recipe!

Double the fun
While this is a wonderful recipe for Christmas, especially for gift giving, I love surprising people with this treat at Valentines. I save left over candy canes or buy several boxes after Christmas when the stores are practically giving them away. They are perfect for making this peppermint bark; I find the candy canes are easier to crush than the round peppermint candies.

Mint Fun
Love this recipe-very easy. I add semisweet chocolate as bottom layer then the white. Also use red hot cinnamon for Valentine's Day.Can drizzle semi sweet on top for extra color.

so good
This recipe is so easy and it comes out great. The first time I tried it, a coworker brought some in to work. We finished it in no time. I have made it myself since then. I buy the red and green candies to make them a little more festive for the holidays.

Holiday Peppermint Bark
I have always purchased peppermint bark in the past for my family, especially for my son. He has always loved it. Now he REALLY LOVES it since I found this recipe. This is the only peppermint bark recipe I use. I don't buy it any longer. This is the first thing I make from my list of goodies that I bake for the holidays. Thanks for a great and easy recipe!!
