1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut in pieces
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3 large eggs, divided

Absolutely delicious!

I made these this past weekend for a family get together. My husband could not wait until they were completely cooled so he had his piece while it was still pretty gooey. They were so good they were gobbled up right away. The only thing I would do differently next time is add five minutes to the baking time. I felt that the top batter could have used it. Great recipe and will definitely make again!

Very Good

These brownies were very good, in my opinion. A change from my usual brownies. I made them once, and would make them again. They are extremely rich, so next time, I'll probably cut the recipe in half!

i don't know what i did wrong..

i followed the recipe exactly but the brownies burned on the bottom. also, the caramel oozed up the sides and burned to the pan. i don't know if my oven is running hot or what but they just didn't come out right. i will say, after i trimmed the burned edges and bottoms from them, they tasted really good! i'll try it again at a lower temp, i guess.
