Family Favorite!

I have been looking for easy and quick recipes for my 13 yr old grand-daughter to make on her own. This one was a real treat! She loved making these bars and they were easy and the whole family loved them! This recipe will be used alot for family gatherings and church fellowships. We also tried them using Nestles chocolate chips instead of chunks. They were great!

Kid Friendly

This was a great recipe for a child to help you with and for a bake sale. Does not consume lots of time to make it. Child will need help mixing ingredients but a great way for learning to read a recipe and bake! The results are yummy too!

cookie bars

I've made these cookie bars a few times and my family loves them, they don't last long! I also spread melted chocolate morsels over top of them, it makes them even better.
