Broccoli, tomatoes and crisp greens add fresh accents to this Garden Pasta Salad.
Ingredients:
1 package (20 ounces) BUITONI Refrigerated Three Cheese Tortellini, prepared according to package directions, rinsed in cold water and drained

2 medium tomatoes, chopped
2 cups broccoli florets
1/2 cup (1.5 ounces) BUITONI Refrigerated Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 package (10 ounces) Italian-blend torn mixed salad greens
Directions:
POUR dressing into large bowl. Add pasta, tuna, tomatoes*, broccoli and cheese; toss well to coat. Refrigerate or serve immediately over mixed greens. If desired, after chilling stir in a little more salad dressing to moisten pasta.
*NOTE: If refrigerating more than 4 hours, stir tomatoes into salad just before serving.

Made Over And Over Again
Karlynn from
I have made this for so many parties. I believe that it could never get old. I have changed it through the times I have made it. I don't put the tomatoes in it because tomatoes don't keep very good. Also I have replaced the Tortellini with just some basic shell noodles. I like the taste better with the shells and shells are much cheaper

Excellent Light Summer Salad
Margie from Chandler, AZ from
Chandler, AZ
I made this for my granddaughters birthday party, did not use the tuna or chicken and used Zesty Italian Dressing, also added bacon crumbles and whole grape tomatoes. Let the tortellini, bacon bits and blanched broccoli marinate for a couple of hours in the fridge then just before serving added the italian salad and tomatoes. Everyone raved about it and my husband asked for it for lunch to take to work. Excellent recipe, you can be so creative with it. My husband doesn't like any type of pasta so thought he would hate it, was I wrong.

I made this last night for my family and it was a hit. I thought it was a bit overpowering with the Italian dressing. Next time I might try this with a balsamic vinegar and I was thinking about adding some crumbled feta. Overall though, this was a tasty and refreshing pasta salad. Perfect for bringing to a BBQ because it would be fine sitting outside because there is no mayo involved.

I made this salad yesterday for a work potluck. I was an intant hit! I like to use a bit of color in my cooking, so I used tri-color tortellini and an orange bell pepper. I am not the biggest fan with raw brocolli, so I decided to blanch the vegetables. I found it to be prefect! I will definitely make this one again. Simple and delicious!

Wonderful Salad...
Angela from
Greensboro, NC
This is an absolutely wonderful salad which can be served as an accompaniment to meal or as a meal in itself. I served it to dinner guests and to my family as an accompaniment to an Italian meal. It adds so much to the table because it is very colorful and different ( a "no-lettuce" salad). Would be excellent for luncheons, parties, etc.

I read the recipe at work and on the way home decided to buy all the ingredients and make it for dinner. My husband was a little concerned because he says he doesn't like olives (even asked me not to put olives in the salad, but I did anyway) we both ate it and he went for seconds. The salad tasted great (i also added chicken strips) and decided I am making this salad for my Christmas family gathering this year.

I cut the recipe in half (but still added the whole can of ripe olives). It was fantastic. I served it with hot garlic bread and it was a big hit with my friends. You could add some diced ham or pepperoni to it and make it extra yummy; but it was really good as is. I'm taking it to my next potluck luncheon!

I used a roasted red pepper and garlic Italian dressing and it tasted great! Also, because my ravioli had unknowingly expired the first time I made this recipe, I just used some rotini pasta I had on hand and cut up cheddar cheese cubes and it still turned out great. A very easy and versatile salad.

Easy but so so

This pasta salad is so easy to make but it's a little...I don't know. Not one of the best pasta salads I've ever had. I guess by changing the dressing and/or the tortellini it would make it better. It might also be good with some more protein (chicken, tuna, tofu, etc).

Italian Nonni
Baked Dijon Chicken from
Huntley,Illinois
This was very easy to prepare. I used 4 very thick chicken breasts and cut them in half. I also use Italian seasoned bread crumbs because I did not have plain bread crumbs. I think the heat was too high. I sprayed a glass pyrex 13x9 with Pam and most of my breading stuck to the pan. I also had the rack in the middle of the oven, I have an electric oven so I think next time I will bake at 400 for about 30 minutes. The 15 to 20 minutes time frame is probably for thin breasts. Family was pleased with overall taste and said they would eat this dish again. I also have two granddaughters 6 & 4 who said they enjoyed the meal.

This was good, however I used italian flavored breadcrumbs based on other reviews. I love dijon mustard, and the taste just didn't come through. This is a good alternative to fried chicken. The coating on it is tasty and it's a healthy recipe. The parmesan cheese adds alot of flavor. This is one of those recipes your children can help you make. Just be careful when using the oven as the temperature for this recipe is really high.

Fun Finger-Friendly Food
Miss Kendy from

I made this recipe for my boyfriend and myself one night because I was in the mood for something 'different'. My boyfriend is a very selective eater and although I do give him credit for venturing out and at least tasting new things, he had made it clear to me that he does not like chicken. Instead of full chicken breasts, I opted to use tenders. They came out beautifully. We made rice as a side dish which was a perfect accent. He loved the dish, and told me he wants it again. He actually wants me to make chicken again (in the form of tenders nonetheless), but still. Plus, it really was easy to make, the ingredients are easily affordable and it's perfect for college students that have small spaces to work with and not much money in the wallet.

Indulge in something truly divine with this recipe for Homemade
Chocolate-Glazed Angel Food Cake. Drizzled with a decadent
chocolate glaze and served with a side of vanilla frozen yogurt or fresh,
seasonal fruit, this guilt-free dessert offers sinfully delicious flavor.
Ingredients:
CAKE
3/4 cup cake flour
1/3 cup NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Cocoa
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar, divided
12 large egg whites
1 1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
GLAZE
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Cocoa
2 tablespoons hot water
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 375° F.
FOR CAKE:
SIFT flour, cocoa and 3/4 cup granulated
sugar in medium bowl.
BEAT egg whites, cream of tartar, vanilla
extract and salt in large mixer bowl until
soft peaks form. With mixer running,
gradually beat in remaining granulated
sugar until stiff peaks form. Gradually fold
in flour mixture, one-third at a time.
Spoon batter into ungreased 10-inch tube
pan with removable bottom.
BAKE for 35 to 38 minutes or until cake
springs back when touched. Cool by
turning the cake (in the pan) upside down,
propping on top of a bottle until it cools to
room temperature. Run knife around the
cake to loosen, then invert onto a serving
plate.
FOR GLAZE:
COMBINE powdered sugar, cocoa and
water in medium bowl. Stir until smooth.
Drizzle glaze over top of cake, letting it drip
down naturally. Let glaze set for 30
minutes or until hard. Serve with vanilla
frozen yogurt, if desired.
