Requested to have it a few days ago and again it was so good. Evaporated milk made such a creamy difference. I used regular yellow extra sharp cheese the second time. Good as could be. The evaporated milk gives it a creamy taste! My mom and I never thought to use evaporated milk before in Mac & cheese and that's probably why ours was so dry and bland. I got creative and added dill, white pepper and groung mustard. The recipe calls for paprika too and spices make it so tasty that you can use just plan bread crumbs on top. I didn't have white cheddar so I used twice as much colby jack chesse and it was teriffic. My mother said that I am in charge of the Mac & Cheese this year!! You can definitely improvise with this recipe and have it come out delicious every time.

This has always been my go-to recipe for chocolate chip cookies. I change the recipe by using 1/2 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, and 2 tsp of homemade pure vanilla. I also use a mixture of milk, semi-sweet, and dark chocolate chips. Most of the time I omits the nuts, but when I use them it's either pecans or walnuts.

Also to Stacy G. from , KY, try adding an additional 1/4 Tsp baking soda and make sure that the baking soda has been kept sealed so that it is fresh. This is the ONLY recipe I ever use to make my kids chocolate chip cookies. My kids and their friends always say they are the best chocolate chip cookies ever! I agree! My mother always made them for me, too. I mix semi sweet chips and milk chocolate chips in mine. They're so good!

I don't always make chocolate chip cookies, but i use this recipe to make the base of just about any cookie. Just substituting the chocolate chips for chocolate candies, white chocolate and nuts etc. It really works well in all cases.

    Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

    Tracy Fontenot from Carencro, LA

I make a batch of the Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie dough and make the bars in a pan as described for the bar recipe and decorate it for my kids' birthday parties. No more $40 cookie cakes from the mall for us. This will make the best birthday cake ever. I use the canned decorating icing to decorate just like the ones that you buy, only the cookie cake tastes 100% better because it is made from scratch with butter and you can definitely taste it. This is the only cake that actually gets eaten at the birthday party without having to throw leftovers because everyone loves it and it travels well if you need. I sometimes add some M&Ms baking pieces to the mix just to make it a little prettier also.

    Awesome Cookies!!!

    Frances Velez from Puerto Rico

I love making these cookies with my daughter. We always refrigerate them for 30 minutes before baking, it helps them keep their shape. (since we live in Puerto Rico the heat from the oven and our climate make them spread out).

    The Original and Best!

    Michelle Ingram from ,

How could this recipe receive anything less than 5 stars! Yummy, yummy! I did change the recipe a bit by using 1 bag of milk chocolate chips AND about 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chunks. I also let the dough sit in the refrigerator for about 36 hours before using. The dough is a little stiff but so worth it to me! I was told that they looked and tasted like gourmet cookies and were the best cookies in the world!
