This is super easy and fast to make...it has a completely different taste, but it's actually very good. Nice change from a sauce. But I think anything with the wild mushroom agnolotti will be good. Bye bye Olive Garden...hello Buitoni!

    New Family Fav

    Christina from Gaithersburg, MD

First of all I have to start by saying I think this recipe would taste best cooked at low heat in the oven or in a crock pot for a few hours. I did not do that but I think I will try it next time. After reading other reviews I added a few things to the recipe. First I chopped the onion and sauteed it in the butter until it became soft. Right before taking it off the heat I added the garlic, which I increased to 4 cloves, and cooked for about a minute longer. I removed the onion mixture from the pan, added more butter and cooked the pork chops as the recipe says. I used apple cider instead of juice and added rosemary, allspice, cinnamon, 1 applepeeled, cored and sliced, and some raisins. #160It could also use a little more salt and pepper. It was good and my picky toddler gobbled it up. So mission accomplished. Enjoy! :

    Wonderful - absolutely wonderful!

    Marion Sakowitz from VA

I decided to make this for dinner tonight after reading the other reviews. I used some of the tips in the reviews and the dish was a huge hit with my husband (whose comment is the review title). I didn't have any apple juice, so I used a combination of 1/2 cup apple butter thinned with 1/8 cup bourbon and water to make 1 1/2 cups total. My chops were a little thicker than 1/2", so I cooked them a bit longer, and they still came out so flavorful and juicy. I will definitely make this again.

    Upgrade Flavor

    Geraldine Holsinger from KY

Good meal but can be updated if you really like apples. Slice a yellow or golden delicous apple into thin slices, sprinkle a "little" cinnamon over apples and cook over top of meat about 10 minutes before serving. A great lift in flavor.

    Easy and Quick

    Deanne Grizzell from Glendale, AZ

To make this receipe elegant and add extra flavor include the following. 1) add pumpkin spice to the apple juice. 2) Place apple slices and dried cranberries on top on the pork chops while they are simmering. For an adult version I add 1/8 of a cup Bourbon to the apple juice. My family and friends love this receipe. The pork chops come out tender and favorable.

    Needs Flavor

    Leo from Miami, FL

This recipe was easy but for me it needed a kick of something.. maybe a dash of cayenne pepper for some spice and a bit of garlic powder would have given it that extra ummmph it needed. It was a bit to bland for my taste.

This dish was excellent! I am not a fan of Apple Juice by any means...never have been and yet I couldn't stay away from this recipe; I am glad I didn't because it was quick, easy, and delicious. I thought for sure I would taste the apple juice and hate it, but I loved it and more immportantly so did the kids and hubby. Definitely something I will make again. It went great with rice and fresh steamed veggies.

I doubled the recipe and used a 1/4 less apple juice so there wouldn't so much liquid left over, and used more onions & used frozen concentrate already had in freezer. It was wonderful aroma in the house, I wasn' sure it would taste good, family absolutely loved it. Served it with augrain potatoes & salad. This is a real keeper. No more dry pork chops for a family of 7. Thank you.

    Best Pork Chops Yet!

    Bonnie from Oviedo, FL

These have to be the best pork chops I've ever tasted! They're not too sweet, have GREAT flavor & are perfectly juicy. There were a few more spices in mine because I bought the pre-seasoned pork chops from Albertsons, but added more salt & pepper. Normally I'm not a big fan of pork chops because they're usually a little dry and tough, but like I can't stop saying, these were perfect!!!

I added mexican corn instead of plain corn and it was a good contrast with the jalapeno peppers I added. I also only used 2 tbl spoons of the jalapenos as well. I reduced the milk to 3/4 cup and added some sour cream to make up the rest. Great recipe, will make it every time i make chili or beans!

I have made this dessert several times, and it always disappears quickly, whether I serve it at home or make it for a special occasion or meeting. Other desserts may be half-gone, but this one is always eaten completely! Sometimes I use strawberry or pineapple soft cream cheese for convenience and added taste. It is best to not let this dessert sit 'for hours' after assembling, because the cookie crust softens. Best when served as soon as possble; it's at its freshest peak and flavor!

This is a recipe that can be used and changed again and again. It is easy and versatile. Use cream cheese, yogurt, pudding, or chocolate. Top with fruits, candies, or cookie crumbs. I decorate it according to the occasion. It's great.

    awesome dessert

    Lori Combs from Richmond, VA

I've made this fruit pizza before with my mom for company and it was a big hit. The only change was that we drizzled some warm orange marmalade over the fruit which gave it a nice tangy glaze. We used strawberries, blueberries, banana slices and peaches. We also substituted almond extract for the vanilla. Excellent dessert and will make this over and over in the future.

    YUMMY!

    RHONDA OTTEN from GOSHEN, OH

I HAVE BEEN MAKING A FRUIT PIZZA FOR YEARS. THIS LOOKS MUCH PRETTIER WITH THE TART PAN. I ALSO MELT SOME APRICOT OR SEEDLESS RASPBERRY JAM IN THE MICROWAVE AND BRUSH IT OVER THE FRUIT. THIS MAKES ALL THE FRUIT SHINE AND KEEPS EVERYONE GUESSING WHAT THE YUMMY GLAZE IS.

    Spring Fruit Tart

Debbie Todd from NEW STANTON, PA

My father-in-law does not like cream cheese. If you know you will be eating the entire tart on that day I replace the cream cheese with white chocolate pudding. The fruit, pudding and cookie dough just melt in your mouth. The flavor of the white chocolate just ADDS to the tart. Happy Spring!

This is a fantastic recipe that I have been making for many many years. You can also try adding coconut to the top and then a light swirl of melted chocolate.........to die for! Also - if you know you're going to make - ask your local pizza maker for boxes - makes transporting easier!

    Bueatiful Tarts

    MELODY COE from Cambria, CA

Fruit tarts are so yummy any way, the easiness of the cream cheese versus cooking a custard or whipping up some style of mousse is fantastic. The time allows to prepare them for events that pop up quickly and with a variety of fruits what a bueatiful table of elegant looking choices.

And we met some new neighbors to boot!

My mom lets me be in charge of dinner a lot of the time and my favorite parts always been dessert. I came up with fruit salads or crepes and fruit but I'd never thought about making a tart, and I thought it'd be nice seeing as how I usually use chocolate. Well I loved it and so did my family, they want me to make it again, and I probably will...it was great!
