This is super easy and fast to make...it has a completely different taste, but it's actually very good. Nice change from a sauce. But I think anything with the wild mushroom agnolotti will be good. Bye bye Olive Garden...hello Buitoni!

Wonderful - absolutely wonderful!
Marion Sakowitz from
VA
I decided to make this for dinner tonight after reading the other reviews. I used some of the tips in the reviews and the dish was a huge hit with my husband (whose comment is the review title). I didn't have any apple juice, so I used a combination of 1/2 cup apple butter thinned with 1/8 cup bourbon and water to make 1 1/2 cups total. My chops were a little thicker than 1/2", so I cooked them a bit longer, and they still came out so flavorful and juicy. I will definitely make this again.

this recipe turned out pretty good. i think next time i will doctor it up by using apple cider instead of apple juice and also apple slices and some dried cranberry..

Upgrade Flavor
Geraldine Holsinger from

Good meal but can be updated if you really like apples. Slice a yellow or golden delicous apple into thin slices, sprinkle a "little" cinnamon over apples and cook over top of meat about 10 minutes before serving. A great lift in flavor.

Deanne Grizzell from

To make this receipe elegant and add extra flavor include the following. 1) add pumpkin spice to the apple juice. 2) Place apple slices and dried cranberries on top on the pork chops while they are simmering. For an adult version I add 1/8 of a cup Bourbon to the apple juice. My family and friends love this receipe. The pork chops come out tender and favorable.

Needs Flavor
Leo from

This recipe was easy but for me it needed a kick of something.. maybe a dash of cayenne pepper for some spice and a bit of garlic powder would have given it that extra ummmph it needed. It was a bit to bland for my taste.

Yum!!
Val from
This dish was excellent! I am not a fan of Apple Juice by any means...never have been and yet I couldn't stay away from this recipe; I am glad I didn't because it was quick, easy, and delicious. I thought for sure I would taste the apple juice and hate it, but I loved it and more immportantly so did the kids and hubby. Definitely something I will make again. It went great with rice and fresh steamed veggies.

Juicy Apple Pork Chops
Jeannette from
Schaumburg,IL
I doubled the recipe and used a 1/4 less apple juice so there wouldn't so much liquid left over, and used more onions & used frozen concentrate already had in freezer. It was wonderful aroma in the house, I wasn' sure it would taste good, family absolutely loved it.
Served it with augrain potatoes & salad. This is a real keeper. No more dry pork chops for a family of 7. Thank you.

Best Pork Chops Yet!
Bonnie from
Oviedo, FL
These have to be the best pork chops I've ever tasted! They're not too sweet, have GREAT flavor & are perfectly juicy. There were a few more spices in mine because I bought the pre-seasoned pork chops from Albertsons, but added more salt & pepper. Normally I'm not a big fan of pork chops because they're usually a little dry and tough, but like I can't stop saying, these were perfect!!!

Decent...

This recipe was tasty, but for me just had too much onion taste in it. I would recommend using a sweeter onion so it is not as powerful.

Awesome Corn Bread
Mike from
Queen Creek, AZ
Just got done with this for dinner. I made a pot of beans with ham, and this topped it off perfectly! I did have to cook it about 45 minutes. I added mexican corn instead of plain corn and it was a good contrast with the jalapeno peppers I added. I also only used 2 tbl spoons of the jalapenos as well. I reduced the milk to 3/4 cup and added some sour cream to make up the rest. Great recipe, will make it every time i make chili or beans!

Fresh and Refreshing

I have made this dessert several times, and it always disappears quickly, whether I serve it at home or make it for a special occasion or meeting. Other desserts may be half-gone, but this one is always eaten completely! Sometimes I use strawberry or pineapple soft cream cheese for convenience and added taste. It is best to not let this dessert sit 'for hours' after assembling, because the cookie crust softens. Best when served as soon as possble; it's at its freshest peak and flavor!
