I made the cold version of these for a party and substituted (defrosted) frozen spinach for the beef and they were fantastic. I did find the cumin was too much with the spinach, so next time I'd nix it or substitute it. However, it was still so good that we used the leftover mix for a dip with tortilla chips and everyone ate that up too.

When I took it out of the oven, it was still hot after sitting for 10 minutes. Meaning that the inside was goozing out. I didn't enjoy it warm. I put the left overs in the refrigerator. The next day, I tried it again cold and it was great! You just have to wait until it cools completely.

I was having a jewelry party, and found this recipe. They were such a hit at my party that when a friend of mine had a party she asked me to make them. A co-worker of mine wanted me to make them for a potluck at work, and my mom wanted the recipe for a baby shower she was throwing. Everytime these have been made there haven't been leftovers. This is an excellent dish and very simple to make.

I took this to the potluck at my church. People there really liked this. I served them cold. I didn't use green onions or cilantro, but parsely instead. I personally didn't really care for this, but my husband enjoyed this.

I was having a few friends over for watching "LOST" on ABC and Scrabble, so I made a quick search on this site for some tasty appetizers, and this was the HIT! I couldn't find the beef you mention here in Germany, so I substituted it for refried beans (homemade from another one of the recipes on this lovely site). I was very happy with the turn out and I will definitely be serving them up in the future! EXCELLENT!

This recipe was very yummy!! I made them cold and hot and loved them both ways. My children loved them as well!! I took them to my Mother's group and they were gone in a flash.. I will make these again for sure.. Just a note.. i was not able to find the Stouffer's Chipped Cream Beef and so I substituted with sliced up pieces of roast beef and turkey fresh deli meat... Works great !!! Enjoy!!

Excellent! Leave intact for faster munching.

These are excellent! I prefer a bit more cumin but this recipe is great as is. I'm lazy and like to munch a bit faster than the 1-inch pieces allow so I leave the tortillas rolled like a burrito. Also, I've found that the cheese has a tough time staying on top of the rolls unless you flatten 'em out a bit so I leave that off.

I made these for my family - and they liked them hot. I made a batch for work and they liked them cold! These were gone in minutes. They were different tasting, I don't know if I liked them, but everyone else did - I will make again.

I made these for a family gathering. Different from the run of the mill pinwheels, which everyone thought they were. Everyone just couldn't figure out what was in them. They gobbled them all up, quicker than any other appetizer. They tasted wonderful. A nice blend of flavors. I will definitely take these again to a gathering.
