I am a new cook and always looking for simple delicious meals for my family. I made this recipe tonight and mixed all the spices with the tomato to marinate while I cooked the pasta. Instead of tossing that mix with the pasta, I just spooned the tomato mix onto the dinner and served the rest with crackers. I also took another woman's suggestion to add chicken (with italian seasoning) and garlic. The only thing I forgot was a vegatable, but I suppose the tomato was good enough. I will definitely make this again. It was so easy.

I really enjoyed this dish. I did add some garlic and chicken to the dish. I seasoned the chicken with italian seasoning and then coated it with parmesean cheese before putting it in the pasta. All three of my children enjoyed this dish they just picked out the tomatoes. I will make this dish again.

Very good! 3 out of 4 kids liked it. Husband asked, "Where's the meat?" When I said that it's vegetarian, my oldest daughter asked "Is that in Asia?" It would be even better with some chicken or shrimp mixed in and maybe some garlic, too. Great dish from Vegetaria!

I couldn't find the refrigerator pasta so I bought some dry pasta. I sautéed a zucchini in some olive oil to add some green veggies. I used grated cheese in a package, not sure if that affected how cheesy it came out, but after trying it I decided to double up on the cheese as I had trouble noticing it. It was easy and worth making again. Next time I might experiment with some of the suggestions of others.

I made this for dinner, and my whole family went wild, it was so quick and easy to prepare, and the blending of the flavors of the fresh basil with the parmesean cheese was out of this world. I'm making this to take to a party thats how much we all enjoyed it, at last a new pasta salad that is a breeze to prepare and gets rave reviews to boot.

I really loved this recipe! It is so easy to prepare and it tastes delicious. If you don't have the Buitoni pasta on hand I recommend substituting it with Angel Hair Pasta. Also adding some garlic fried in olive oil gives it some extra flavor.

This is a great change from the everyday pasta. Everyone loved this dish. We had steamed mussels on the side. I did not have the pasta as it is in the recipe however I just used ziti and it was great. Another night I sauteed diced chicken in olive oil then added all the items and tossed it into the pasta. What a delightful dish.

This recipe is excellent, even my 3 yr old who is VERY PICKY about food liked it, I didn't have some of the regular ingredients so I substituted the tomatoes with canned chili seasoned tomatoes(drained) and I used Mrs. Dash Tomato Basil and Garlic seasoning ( we don't use salt in our food ) and added about 1 clove of fresh minced garlic and it turned out great, this recipe is so versitile you can do anything with it to suit your tastes or diet needs, I truly think you should try it, this is a dish I will definitely be making a lot.

This was a great, easy meal. Even though I couldn't find refrigerated pasta at my grocer, it was still very easy to make w/ dried pasta. A very refreshing, heart healthy meal. It would be great as a summer meal when hot out especially since it would require no cooking if one can get the refrigerated pasta. I bet it would be great meal if served hot as well. I made it to my own personal touch by adding some garlic salt and southwest seasoning. Yum Yum.

Delicious Recipe!

I was amazed at how delicious this recipe is! It took about 15 minutes to prepare and serve it. I read over the reviews and combined the different ideas suggested for the recipe. I used my wok for this great recipe.
I used Hunt's diced tomatoes with sweet onions instead of fresh tomatoes (not tomato season yet). I also substituted balsamic vinaigrette in place of the red wine vinaigrette, added grilled chicken and garnished with fresh parmesean. The wok is perfect for this recipe, and my family loved it. Delicious!

YUMMY DISH!
grandma_ho from
We love this recipe. It's so easy and quick. I follow the recipe, but I did make a few changes. I do use a little more olive oil and more red wine vinegar. I also add broccoli florets. I steam the broccoli until crisp tender, then add it to hot noodles, fresh tomatoes & basil and serve it with grilled chicken.

When I made this dish, I was surprised at how good this dish would become. As a variation, I blanched 1 lb. of Roma tomatoes, peeling them and sauteed the tomatoes in some olive oil, red pepper flakes, garlic, and balsamic vinegar. I seasoned to taste with salt/pepper. I tossed the pasta with the tomato mixture plus Romano cheese. Excellent dish. I will be making again.

I thought this was an excellent recipe. I did add a few things, though. I did add chicken that I cooked on top of the stove. I sauteed the tomatoes with fresh minced garlic and red onion in a red pepper flavored olive oil. My husband LOVED it!!

Nothing like a quickie!
Ted from
This was a very fast meal to make. I would suggest as others did, dicing up a few mushrooms and putting them in with some garlic. I would also suggest substituting a stick of butter instead of the oil. This makes the dish non-dietetic but certainly adds quite a bit of flavor. I took heed of the red pepper suggestion as well. Talk about tasty! This was a great dish.

Excellent!! Here's something similar which is also very good.
3 ripe tomatoes chopped, 1 cup chopped fresh basil, 1-3 cloves garlic, 8 oz. brie peeled and cut up, 1/2 cup olive oil. Marinade at room temp for 2 hrs. Cook linguini and toss with above. Add freshly grated parmesan. Enjoy.

I like foods with lots of robust flavors, and I found this dish a little too "blah" for my taste -- even though it was very good. So, I roasted some green peppers and garlic and mixed them in with the basil and tomatoes , then I added fresh cracked black pepper and some kosher salt. The result? Delicious!

This elegant Veal Milanese dish features a contemporary--and mouth-watering--presentation of a classic Italian favorite.
Created by Chef Michael Chiarello
Ingredients:
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup (1.5 ounces) BUITONI Refrigerated Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
2 teaspoons salt, divided
2 teaspoons ground black pepper, divided
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
6 (about 12 ounces total) veal cutlets, pounded to 1/4-inch thickness
1 container (15 ounces) BUITONI Refrigerated Vodka Sauce
4 cups arugula or baby spinach
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, divided
2 teaspoons white wine vinegar or lemon juice
Directions:
MIX bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, garlic, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper in small bowl; set aside.
COMBINE flour and remaining 1 teaspoon salt and remaining 1 teaspoon pepper on large plate. Coat veal cutlets lightly in flour mixture and dip in beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off. Coat both sides of cutlets with bread crumb mixture.
HEAT sauce in small saucepan over low heat; keep warm.
HEAT 1/2 cup oil in large skillet over high heat. Reduce heat to medium; cook cutlets for 1 minute on each side until golden brown. Set on paper towels to drain.
TOSS arugula with remaining 2 tablespoons oil and vinegar.
SPOON sauce on platter and top with veal cutlets. Sprinkle with additional cheese, if desired; top with arugula.

after reading the rave reviews I just had to try these however they did not come up to the caliber of rolls that everyone else gave in their reviews. The flavor just wasn't there and the garlic powder was quite fresh. Perhaps fresh garlic would be a suitable substitute. Also if anyone has suggestions on convedrting this from bread machine to the old fashioned kneading and rising method, it would be helpful.

Rich, decadent and oh-so-good, these moist chocolate flourless brownies topped with a layer of ganache will serve as the perfect treat after any meal.
Ingredients:
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, divided
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, cut into pieces
2 tablespoons water
1/4 cup NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Baking Cocoa
4 large eggs
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup pecans, finely ground (optional)
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 300º F. Line 9-inch-square baking pan with foil.
Grease bottom and sides.
HEAT 1 1/2 cups morsels, butter and water in medium, heavy-duty saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until morsels and butter are melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in cocoa until smooth. Remove from heat.
BEAT eggs and sugar in medium mixer bowl until thick, about 4 minutes. Stir in vanilla extract. Fold 1/3 of egg mixture into chocolate mixture. Fold in remaining egg mixture, one half at a time, until thoroughly incorporated. Fold in pecans. Pour into prepared pan.
BAKE for 35 to 40 minutes or until risen in center and edges start to get firm and shiny (center may still move and appear underbaked). Cool completely in pan on wire rack (center may sink slightly). Cover; refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
PLACE cream in small, uncovered, microwave-safe dish. Microwave on HIGH (100%) power for 25 to 30 seconds. Add remaining 1/2 cup morsels. Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes; stir until chocolate is melted.
SPREAD ganache over chilled brownie. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Using two opposite sides of foil, carefully lift the entire brownie out of the pan and place on cutting board. Carefully peel away foil from brownie. Cut into bars. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

I made these brownies for Passover. They're good any time of year. They are rich, decadent, full of protein, limited sugar, and absolutely delicious. I would recommend doubling the recipe and using a larger pan.

I'm trying to cut gluten out of my diet and was a touch wary of trying these. Oh my goodness, they are WONDERFUL! Don't let all the eggs scare you. It's not eggy at all. It's rich and fudge and more decadent than a flour- based brownie. I couldn't stop eating them!

Made them brownies and they were divine!! Although our family cannot have dairy products either, so instead of the ganache on the top, we did a dairy free icing. Try it for another flavor combo!!!
Dairy Free Icing
Yields 2 cups icing
½ cup shortening
1/8 cup dairy free creamer
¼ teaspoon vanilla
8 oz confectionary sugar
1/8- 1/4 cup water

If you like fudge, these are a must try brownie. Very good! Would be even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you don't mind the extra calories.

These brownies should be wonderful. I've been looking for something sweet now that my friends and I have started a gluten-free diet. Can't wait to try. I'll share with my friends and see what they think.
