Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup raspberry vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 8 cups (about 2 small bunches) fresh spinach, washed, dried and coarsely chopped
  • 1 large red apple, unpeeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 kiwifruit, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 oranges, peeled and sectioned
  • 10 fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted

Directions:

COMBINE vinegar, oil, sugar, basil and salt in small bowl; whisk until blended. Combine spinach, apple, kiwifruit, oranges and strawberries in large bowl.

ADD dressing to salad; toss well to coat. Sprinkle with nuts. Serve immediately.

Ingredients:

  • 6 (about 1 1/2 lb. total) boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons MAGGI TASTE OF ASIA Cooking Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon peeled, finely chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons cooking sherry or rice wine
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Heavy-duty foil

Directions:

PLACE chicken in medium bowl. Add soy sauce, ginger, sherry, sugar, vegetable oil, pepper and sesame oil; stir to combine. Marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

PREHEAT oven to 350° F.

CUT sixteen 6-inch-square pieces of heavy-duty foil. Fold each square in half to form a rectangle. Make two 1/4-inch folds on each short side, leaving the long side open, forming a packet.

PLACE scant 1/4 cup chicken mixture in each foil packet. Double fold the open edge to tightly seal. Place packets on rimmed baking sheet.

BAKE for 20 to 25 minutes. Open one packet to test for doneness; chicken should no longer be pink.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup warm water (105° F to 115° F)
  • 1/3 cup dry NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Instant Nonfat Dry Milk
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 pkg. (1/4 oz.) active dry yeast
  • 1 large egg white
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions:

PLACE ingredients, except egg white and water, in bread machine pan in order listed above. Set machine on Dough cycle; press Start.

GREASE baking sheet lightly. Remove dough from machine when cycle is finished. On lightly floured surface, divide into twelve equal pieces; shape into balls. Place on prepared baking sheet. Cover with a damp cloth; allow to rise in warm place for about 45 minutes or until doubled in size.

PREHEAT oven to 350º F. Combine egg white and water in small bowl; lightly brush over top of rolls.

BAKE for 15 minutes or until light golden brown. Serve warm.

NOTE: For Rosemary Garlic Dinner Rolls, add 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary with bread machine ingredients.

    after reading the rave reviews I just had to try these however they did not come up to the caliber of rolls that everyone else gave in their reviews. The flavor just wasn't there and the garlic powder was quite fresh. Perhaps fresh garlic would be a suitable substitute. Also if anyone has suggestions on convedrting this from bread machine to the old fashioned kneading and rising method, it would be helpful.

Ingredients:

  • 1 container (14 ounces) Zesty Lemon HÄAGEN-DAZS Fat Free Sorbet
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 8 small prepared chocolate dessert shells (optional)

Directions:

REMOVE sorbet from freezer and place on counter for about 10 to 15 minutes or until sorbet is soft enough to stir until smooth.

STIR in basil until well dispersed. Divide 1 ½-inch diameter scoops between chocolate shells and serve immediately.

Cook's Tip: The Lemon-Basil Sorbet keeps well in the freezer for about three weeks.
