    Yummy!!

    Carmen K from Trumansburg, NY

This is my go-to recipe for pot luck gatherings and it always has people asking for the recipe. My only alteration is to the cheeses: 2 cups mild cheddar and 1 cup sharp cheddar. If I feel like it, I'll add some buttered breadcrumbs on top.

    Oh, So Creamy!

    barry murphy from ,

Being a lover of Mac & Cheese, I could not resist trying this one! So creamy and quick! The mustard gives it a twist! I added bread crumbs on top to finish it off! It was terrific! Thanks!

    Great!

    Lauren Dunn from Pittsburgh

I added more cheddar than it called for and used Pepper Jack instead of American, only because I wanted a little kick to it. I always add more cheese in every recipe I make than the recipe calls for, so it is no reflection of this recipe. It was very good. Even the picky children ate it!

  • Star(s)

Not even the kids liked it

    Jennifer McClain from Anderson, SC

This sounded like a good recipe and was very well reviewed. My only variation from the recipe was use of high protein, multi-grain pasta in place of traditional. The dish wasn't creamy or gooey, rather dry and grainy.

Mac and cheese not as creamy as expected.

    Cynthia Jeffries from Alexandria, VA

    Good stuff

    Kelley Morris from Mobile, AL

I tried this recipe out today and it was quite yummy. I was confused as to why it said to put the mac in a 1 1/2 qt. dish, since that's way too small. I topped mine off with some monterrey and parmesan after stirring. I am a HUGE lover of mac & cheese, and it didn't let me down, although it didn't look much like the picture. I was expecting it to be more creamy. Definitely cheesy and good though.

    Kaye Traweek from Pasadena, TX

We just had this for Thanksgiving dinner. It's is a great recipe...tastes a lot like the mac & cheese my grandmother used to make. I only changed a couple of things. One was, after baking 10 minutes, I salted to taste, then stirred. The other was to top with 1 cup of sharp cheese after that (in addition to the cheese already in the recipe)...when baking for the last 20 minutes. We LOVE cheese!! I'll be making this again very soon...

I loved this recipe. The macaroni and cheese came out really creamy and oh so good. My boyfriend loved it! Delicious!!!!

    Ronda Hollandsworth from Ripon, CA

I made this mac and cheese for my son and picky husband and they loved it. It was a tad bit chalky but all in all it was so dang good. I used american cheese for my first time, however, I will try a different brand on my next batch. I think it will make it creamier and less pasty. If it turns out the same way as the first batch it will still be worth it. It was even better the second day heated up.

    Yummy and flaky

    Kristina Allred from FONTANA, CA

These brownies get 5 stars for easiness to make. I chopped up 15 mini peanut butter cups and added them to the batter. The top was flaky and crisy (only baked at the minimum time). The middle was chewy & fudgy, only wish the entire brownie was fudgy.

    Sharon Hoard from ASHEVILLE, NC

This was a quick and delicious brownie. I melted Bittersweet Chocolate then added it to the sugar and butter mixture. I also used a smaller pan so they wouldn't be so thin. They have a satisfying taste and I'll continue to use this recipe and maybe use some of the alternatives.

    I really like it.

    MARIA PAULIOT from COOKEVILLE, TN

I love this better cold than hot, I did not like it that much when it was hot but the next day it was very good, I cut back the sugar. My stepson really like it and he does not like brownie that much, he asked me to bake it again, I told him I won't bake it often because I will just eat it in a day for I could not stop eating, but I will definitely bake this again.

    So Yummy!

Tracy Bloom from NEW YORK, NY

This is a very simple yet really delicious recipe. I use a 9x9 pan instead of the 9x13 and the brownies are much fudgier and chewier. Also, stirring in some chocolate chips instead of walnuts adds some more chocolatey crunch. yum!

I MADE THIS FOR A CO-WORKER'S BIRTHDAY AND EVERYONE LOVED IT!!! I HAVE ANOTHER RECIPE FOR THESE BROWNIES WHICH IS ALSO BY NESTLE. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT RECIPE DOES NOT CALL FOR MILK IN THE PEANUT BUTTER MIXTURE. I WASN'T GOING TO ADD MILK, BUT THE PEANUT BUTTER DIDN'T MELT DOWN WITHOUT IT.

    Tess Walsh from Eatontown, NJ

This is the absolute easiest recipe to follow! I substitute self rising cake flour, and omit the soda and salt, I find that cake flour makes brownies and cookies very rich! And I've recently discovered self rising flour, just make my life easier! I love the Nestle baking chocolate, easiest to break apart that I've found! Highly recommended! Enjoy! Sakai
