Great flavors

I left out the anchovy and made the salad with everything else. It is unbelievably wonderful. the flavors all blend well together. I really like the way the walnuts add crunch to the gentle textures of all the other ingredients.

This was great, and for those who cannot find the MAGGI Seasoning, you can use a seasoning called Sofrito (hopefully I'm spelling it right!) Hope this helps!

Good but somethings missing
Christina A from
Pontiac, MI
I made this for my fiance and I - and we both thought it was a good "different" plate - I felt as if something was missing. There was a lot of bite with the jalapenos, but when I served with rice- there was just something missing.
But it was so easy to make I can't pass it up!

made it this christmas for a feliz navidad get together. it was a big hit. i like spicy and this recipe certainly is that. it can be toned down a bit by cutting back on the jalapenos. we made two batches, one for the spicy people and one for the other in the group.

This was really great stuff. My husband loved it. I couldn´t find that Maggi sauce, what can i use instead? I used olive oil, but maybe there´s something better out there.

How much lime juice do you put in? It seems that its been left out of the ingredents. Other wise I can't wait to try it sounds very good to me.

I made this recipe for Thanksgiving and it was a hit! Everyone loved it, it's very flavorful. I did not use a whole cup of shallots like it called for, just a half cup and it turned out great.
