This recipe is not only tasty, but very healthy. I am a diabetic so watch carbs and fat content. Red potatoes are the least starchy potato and of course the instant dried milk is low in fat. For all of that, the taste is fantastic--the best of both worlds.

I just wanted to say that this potato salad is so delicious!! I made it for us at the lake to share among our friends and everyone just loved it. It is so different from the usual way of potato salad but just as good. I had never heard of having green beans in a salad such as this but it was absolutely great! I did add a few things to this recipe and as a mistake I used mayonnaise in place of cream cause I had forgotten to get the cream at the store. It still worked out grand though.

We had this for dinner last night. I had some left over ham from the night before which I cut into small cubes and added to this salad. WOW! It was sensational. The first thing my husband said after looking at 'dinner' was, "I DO NOT NEED TO EAT ANOTHER FAT FILLED THING COVERED WITH MAYONAISE" - wasn't he surprised?! No mayo. By the way, he LOVED it! The milk and dijon dressing was such a nice change and the addition of the ham made it a great meal. This will be a family staple from now on!

There's two ways to make this. One as the recipe as written and for those of us who need our mayo in our potato salad by adding that ingredient to the basic recipe. Good both ways. I think that with the chili powder sprinkling, I'd add a small can of drained green chilies to the corn when being chopped. If there were small children in the house party, I'd probably substitute a little paprika to sprinkle on top (no green chilies, of course).

    Sweet Corn Casserole

    Nicki Russell from Tallmansville, WV

I made this recipe for my family to try and then made it for Christmas dinner I was going to. My family loved it! I made mine using corn muffin mix instead of the flour and things that it called for and it turned out great. My kids loved it and so did I. I will definately make this again.

I've been looking for something like this for AGES! We like chili for a cozy winter supper, but crackers or corn bread become mundane after a while. This is the change we need!

    Finally! a sweet corn casserole!

    Judy Howell from Longview, WA

I've been looking for a recipe just like this since my children were little, about 25 years! I used to make a similar dish without a recipe, and it always came out differently, depending on my memory and the ingredients on hand at the time. It's great to know I can now make it.

My family and I enjoy making this banana split in the summertime months, because it is so refreshing! We like to add some different kinds of candy bars to our banana splits, because everybody likes a different type of candy bar. My child loves to help me make this banana split because it is so quick and easy to assemble!! ;-)

We have six grandkids, from 2 to 12, and our big kids? So we whip the ice cream, mix in the different treats that the kids like. It makes the ice cream creamier, more favorable and easier for the young one's to eat. This has been grandma and grandpa tested,(everytime) and kids like it too!
