Ingredients:

1 package (9 ounces) BUITONI Refrigerated Angel Hair Pasta
1 container (10 ounces) BUITONI Refrigerated Alfredo Sauce
8 ounces fresh lump crabmeat or surimi
1/2 cup (1.5 ounces) BUITONI Refrigerated Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Directions:

PREPARE pasta according to package directions.

HEAT alfredo sauce and crabmeat in large saucepan until hot; add pasta. Heat through; top with cheese.

I didn't have the fettucini noodles called for in the recipe and used what I had on hand which was Tomato Basil fettucini noodles. I did use the alfredo sauce called for and added shrimp along with the crab meat since I had some shrimp I needed to use up. My fiance and I LOVED THIS DISH! I will definitely be making this simple, quick dish again and it will become something that I use for entertaining in the future. We added garlic bread to this and it turned out wonderful. I love this dish and thank you meals.com!

I made this meal once, and now i make at least once every two weeks. I use fresh crabmeat i suggest that everyone making this dish should use it.. my family loves it.. before i saw this recipe i would just use portabella mushrooms now i use the crabmeat and the mushrooms.. It really is a great dish.

I made this for my parent's anniversary dinner- served it in a nice bowl, and they thought I worked hard. I love pasta. I love alfredo sauce. I love seafood. Excellent combination. Shrimp even works amazing with broccoli or on its own. And if you don't think angel hair works with this heavy sauce then use regular spaghetti. Your supposed to make it the way you prefer it, right?

Angel hair pasta with alfredo sauce from florida

Angel hair is a very delicate pasta which doesn t need a heavy sauce like Alfredo. It is a not a very good idea to serve it with any heavy creamy sauce. It will be better if served with a thin sauce like a broth or just better with herbs and garlic....

This is just the kind of dish my family loves! I've made this dish twice -- once following the recipe, then changing it a little the second time. Instead of using the refrigerated Aldredo sauce, I made my own sauce from 'scratch' and added fresh cracked pepper and a little garlic. Heavenly!
