Angel Hair Pasta with Chicken, Lemon and Fresh Herbs
The fresh flavor burst of lemon and herbs perfectly accents the chicken and angel hair pasta in this quick and easy dish. Serve with a generous topping of Parmesan cheese!
- 1 package BUITONI Refrigerated Angel Hair Pasta (9 oz.)
- 1 1/2 cups cooked diced chicken
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

TOSS pasta with chicken, butter, lemon juice, parsley, marjoram and garlic powder. Season with salt and ground black pepper, if desired.

Famished to (happily) Full -- and Fast!
We were starving. Had on hand all but marjoram (bought it once, hardly used it, tossed old, almost full jar), including leftover angelhair pasta & 13-oz can of chickie. Doubled the sauce, added garlic salt + salt & freshly ground pepper. Not exactly gourmet, but a surprisingly satisfying, yummy, balanced dish. Steamed some broccoli & finished with ice cream sandwiches -- ta DA! Will be making this again for sure! :)
This was wonderful.Creamy and lemony. I had to almost double the recipie so I added about 1/2 cup butter total, and the juice of two lemons+ 1t lemon rind. I substituted 1TBS dried basil, 1TBS dried taragon and about 1/2c of fresh cilantro for the herbs and added parmesean cheese. My family loved it.

i tried it and i thought since im a beginner at cooking,i am trying new recipes,and i thought it would come out weird tasting,but i gave my husband the first taste straight out of the pan,and he says"wow its pretty good"with a smile on his face and a smile on mine.....thanks for the delicous recipe!!!!
Added some ingredients
I added goat cheese and fresh basil. It tasted like this dish I used to get at an Italian restaurant that they stopped selling.
