    This is a fantastic dessert

    Jennifer from Florida

I love this dessert. This has become my "signature" dessert. I make a few changes based on my own preferences (apple pie filling, angel food instead of pound cake, no cherries, etc.), but everyone I've ever served this to raves about it for days afterwards, and brags to others about how they had my "awesome dessert."

    Simple, Yet Tasty

I made this for a get-together. I never quite know what to make for office parties and this fit the bill. I actually prepared the pudding and rum in advance along with bringing the apple filling and the cake. I put everything together 20 min. or so prior to the office party. Everyone loved this and I'll definitely use it again. It works great for office parties. I prepared it right before serving it b/c I was afraid that the cake would get soggy from all of the other ingredients.

This recipe is so easy to make! I made it for my French class and they loved it. I went to Wal*Mart and couldn't find the apples so I used regular canned pie filling apples, it turned out great, I also used almonds and substituted the pound cake for butter cream cake but it was so good. It lasted for about 3-4 days because it was so good. Seriously try this, don't think about it, it only costs about $20 to make. AMAZING RECIPE!!!

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!! A++++

    Lisa Glazier from NC

I am making this for every occassion from now on! Everyone at my husband's Holiday get together wanted more! We also thought about using peaches or pineapple in the recipe to add variety. It wasn't too sweet or too tart, just right! This is our favorite recipe right now!!
