I think these bars could use more chocolate. I would add a bag of chocolate chips. the crust could use a little more flavor. Maybe more p. butter.

I also used Butterfinger Bars to make this (10 pack snack size)After pressing the base into the pan I sprinkled the chopped Butterfinger bars over and 1 cup chopped pecans and 1 1/4 cup chopped milk chocolate candy bars over and pressed in lightly. The family loved them. I lined the pan with baking parchment paper which eliminated greasing the pan. I also dusted my fingers with flour while pressing in the cookie base.

I have never got so many compliments & everyone asking for the recipe. This last time I made a great thing even better. After baking I drizzeled sweetened condensed milk, then chocolate then smukers dulce'de'leche caramel on top. It looked great & added even more! A must to try... you'll be hooked!

I finally looked up the Very Best Baking Website, and at a good time. I wanted to make something new for my MOPS (Mother's of Pre-Schoolers) class tomorrow, and there are over 50 women who attend, so I wanted some bars that make at least 4 dozen. The Baby Ruth Crater Bars sounded delicious to me, and easy, which I like as well especially when making from scratch.

Very tasty bars! Packed with a great candy punch!

Rosie Pietura from West Bend, WI

Very easy to make. It was very neat how the batter rose in the oven. The taste was great! All the ingredients blended together so well! So full of flavor, yet not too rich! They certainly made me want to eat more than one, yet just eating one was sufficient with all of it's flavor.

Great combination of flavors, these will tempt anyone who loves chocolate and peanuts.
