So simple yet so delicious, No Bake Ovaltine Cereal Bars are perfect to make when you need a quick breakfast or snack. Makes 20 bars. Store in an airtight container.

Ingredients:

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup OVALTINE Rich Chocolate Mix
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/3 cup dried cherries
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seed kernels

Directions:

LINE 9-inch-square baking pan with foil, allowing a little overhang (this will make it easy to lift the bars from the pan). Spray with nonstick cooking spray.

COMBINE honey and peanut butter in large, microwave-safe bowl. Heat on HIGH (100%) power for 30 seconds; stirring until smooth. Stir in Ovaltine and vanilla extract until smooth. Add cereal, oats, cherries and sunflower seed kernels. Gently toss together until completely coated.

POUR into prepared pan. With greased hands or a piece of parchment paper, press mixture into an even layer in the pan, using as much pressure as you can while keeping it as even as possible in the baking pan. Cover; refrigerate for 1 hour. Lift bars from pan using foil. Carefully peel foil away; cut into bars.
