Baked Apple and Cheese Casserole is a delicious combination of cheddar cheese and apples. Great as a dessert or side dish. Ready in less than 1 hour.


  • 1 package (12-oz.) STOUFFER'S Harvest Apples, defrosted according to package directions
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup crushed round butter-style crackers
  • 3 tablespoons Apple NESTLÉ® JUICY JUICE® 100% Juice

PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease a 1-quart baking dish.

MIX sugar and flour in a small bowl; slowly stir in apple juice. Mix melted butter and cracker crumbs in a separate small bowl.

PLACE harvest apples in prepared baking dish. Layer sugar mixture; cheese and cracker crumb mixture over apples.

BAKE for 20 to 30 minutes, or until hot and top is browned.

I made slight change, it's great

I grew up with my mother serving apple pie with chedder cheese so when I saw this recipe I immediatly made it. I didn't have any apple juice so I used 1 TB Apple cider vinegar and 2 TB of water and cooked for 35 min using honeycrisp apples. My oh my it was a hit!!

I made this as a dessert for my hubby. He was very hesitant and didn't like the sound of apples and cheese together. After his first bite, he LOVED it!! This dish lasted for two days and now he's asking me to bake another one! Of course, I'm on my way to the store now!

Great Recipe!

Easy to make and delicious. We loved this dish and I would make it again. I didn't have butter flavored crackers so I used vanilla wafers and it was great. A winner.

As soon as I saw it on your site , I knew I had to try it. I was getting bored with the regular Apple crisp and I have always liked apples and cheese, so what better way to have the best of both worlds. I made two dishes and gave one to the neighbor's kids and they loved it . Thank you for a great receipe
