The other day we had a very late lunch and no one really felt like dinner. So I came to your site to see what I could whip up that was not going to be a big mess, something tasty, somewhat light and no too filling, and that would be a treat. Thanks the smoothies was a hit. Not everyone wanted the same type of Berry or banana in it but, it was great. Thanks

    Reduced Carb Recipe Revision

    PAMELA HUGHES from ROCKLAND, ME

This recipe is a quick and easy treat for our family, but since we're trying to cut down on refined sugar, I substituted 1 can of evaporated milk for the sweetened condensed milk (making 2 cans of evaporated milk, total). The natural sweetness of the banana made it very tasty, and by freezing the banana ahead of time, the texture was thickened somewhat, as well. Dairy, fruit and no added sugar...what a great treat! Muchhealthier for all of us!
