My sister made these and they were just delicious! They were not hard to make, and they tasted just like a chocolate chip cookie.

    great idea

Barbara Bray from Bowling Green, KY

I made these for a group of high school kids. They loved them, but I would like them better if I used only 1/2 bag of mini chips. Too much chocolate and not enough banana taste. But a recipe to keep.

    Delicious muffins!

    Karen Mayer from Whitewater, WI

I made these muffins with just a couple of changes. I used only two bananas (that I had frozen a couple of weeks earlier), and I used 1/2 cup margarine, and 1/4 cup butter flavor shortening. I didn't use an entire bag of the mini chips, but almost!! I used the white sugar Splenda, but only had regular brown sugar, which I used the same measurement. I thought they might turn out dry as a lot of mini muffins do, but these turned out absolutely wonderful. My kids loved them, and unfortunately - so do I. I've eaten half a dozen already!!! Yummm

    Yummy Muffins!

    Linda Leaton from Marshalltown, IA

Easy to make -- loved them -- made regular muffins instead of the minis. Would add more bananas as the chocolate over powers them a little. Got great reviews from all my friends!

    Banana Mini Muffins

    Jeanne Porter from Huntertown, IN

The children enjoyed the mini muffins because they were bite size and fun. The adults preferred the larger muffin that was used for part of their breakfast or used for a snack. It is a good recipe to use old bananas.

    Faiza Waqas from EDMONTON, AB

I made these muffins and liked them verymuch i added some cocoa powder, half cup milk and fewer chocolate chips because my daughter only likes brown cakes and muffins and they were delicious.Thanks.

    Too Many Chips!

    Anne Bailey from SULLIVAN, ME

Don't get me wrong: I love chocolate! But with the addition of a whole 12-ounce bag of mini-chips, these muffins were like chips loosely connected by a little dough. If I make them again, I'll use about half as many chips.

    to many chips

I thought this recipe was easy but I think I would cut back on the mini chips other than that I liked the recipe.

    Amazing Recipe

    Sweet2Bad from Toronto

This recipe is soooo easy, and very yummy. My muffins are in high demand, I end up making them at least once a week. I substitute cranberries for chocolate chips for the more health conscious moments, and it's still a big hit!

Banana Mini-Chip muffins are delish! Try mashing 2 of the bananas and make mini banana chips from the 3rd. Fold the mini banana chips and a tbsp. of cinnamon into the mixture. Enjoy!

    Good Stuff

    DEBBIE CALANDRINO from BRIDGEVIEW, IL

Made these tonite to get rid of some old bananas, they came out great. Added 1/2 cup chopped walnuts too. Maybe next time just a bit less chocolate. I love it but it seemed to overpower the banana flavor. Recipe made 24 mini's and 12 regular muffins.

    Great muffins

    SUSAN GIBBONS from FORNEY, TX

These muffins were a big hit. I substituted regular brown sugar since I did not have the splenda blend, but I did use the Splenda white sugar blend. I also only had 2 banana's instead of the 3 it calls for and they still turned out great.
