FOR CHOCOLATE FROSTING:
HEAT cream in uncovered, medium microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 1 1/2 minutes or just until boiling. Add morsels; let stand 5 minutes. Stir until smooth. Cover; cool for 30 minutes.
PLACE one cake layer on serving platter. Spread half the cream cheese frosting on cake. Spread half the banana mixture to 1/2-inch of edges. Top with second cake layer. Spread with remaining cream cheese frosting followed by remaining banana mixture. Top with remaining cake layer. Spread Chocolate Frosting over top and side of cake. Sprinkle with Premier White curls around top edge of cake. Refrigerate until chocolate is set. Refrigerate leftover cake up to 24 hours.
NOTE: If using two cake pans, pour about 1 1/2 cups batter into each prepared cake pan. Refrigerate remaining batter. Bake as stated above. Bake remaining batter in clean pan.
HINT: To make Premier White curls, carefully draw a vegetable peeler across a bar of NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Premier White Baking Bar.

Oh So Good!
I believe this is the best birthday cake I've ever made myself. My husband who does not like chocolate very much loved it. I made my own cream cheese frosting for the middle and it was soo good! I may have to make this cake for some other occassions. What a perfect cake!
Bananas Foster Fudge Cake
I made this cake for my husband's birthday. Everyone loved it. It was not hard to put together and it looks impressive on the table. Bananas and chocolate are a natural together.
Bananas Foster and Fudge - Fabulous
This cake is moist and delicious. It is not difficult; it just takes some time to prepare. Forget the section of the recipe that suggests refrigerating the leftover cake -there are no leftovers.
the best food
they are good i will stick to it an eat it
If you love rich cakes as I do, this is a must recipe. I made it for Valentine's Day and it was a hit with my husband.
I made this cake last night and my husband and I shared it with some friends. And I have to say that it was absolutely divine! The combination of bananas and chocolate is to die for. The only thing that I would change is to not add the chocolate chips in the cake - I only say that because I don't care for the texture of whole chips in my cake. However, one of my friends thought that was the best part. Thank you for a great recipe!

Best of all aspects
Not only does this cake taste divine, it combines the convenience of box mixes with the ease of embellishing them with on-hand ingredients. Even better, the marriage of bananas and chocolate melds two foods that belong together -- especially with the mounting evidence that chocolate really is good for you.
