    Great Idea, but...

    I didn't enjoy the pairing of creamed spinach and refried beans. Creamed spinach, white beans (cannellini or Great Northern) and 1/4 cup or so of freshly grated Parmesan cheese? Now we're talking!

    I made this dip for a Oktoberfest party at my work. I got a lot of compliments on it! I found that it was very rich in the refried bean flavor. If your not crazy about refried beans then don't make this! I enjoyed it though! :}

    Great Only With Several Changes

    Mary Granoski from Las Vegas, NV

    The only reason this dip was a hit was because I totally changed it and spiced it up. I could only find 10 oz. creamed spinach and I was glad because it was still too much for the amount of beans they tell you to use. I bought a 30 oz. can of spicy jalapeno refried beans instead of plain to add flavor and used about 2/3 of the can. I also add about 1 1/2 cup of cheese and microwaved it until the cheese melted and the dip was nice and hot instead of cold like suggested. Served with toritlla chips and the group couldn't get enough.

    5*'s ? Sorry no

    This dish was okay. However I was disapointed as it had a 5 star excellent rating. I will fix again.

    I tried this recipe and it was quick and easy. My 7 year old son said it was better than good, it was great ( he hates spinach), but he loved this dip. I wouldn't change a thing about it, it was perfect.
