    Good, but missing something

    Candace from Boston

I made this one on Monday night and found it to be very easy. However, it was missing something the taste was okay on the bland side, I'm not much of a salt user, so if anyone has any ideas on how to spice up the tase I'd love to hear it!

    Can't be more easy

Beth Shapiro from Rocky River, Ohio

This was super easy. My kids really liked it. The recipe is a keeper. I used merlot and added extra garlic. Thanks

    Simple, Quick and a Keeper

    Mickey S. from Driving everywhere

This is a great recipe.!Will probably use a sirloin steak instead next time to cut down cooking time for tenderness in the meat. I used a merlot instead of a cabernet and it really made a nice deep taste along with the french roast coffe that I use. The only thing I would suggest is doubling the sauce if you like more.

    Excellent Weekday Meal

    Angela from West Jordan, Utah

My family loved this! I did not have noodles so I made mashed potatoes instead and it went well with the salad I made. I was not impressed about putting coffee in it though, and will use beef broth instead the next time I make it. Otherwise, it is a keeper!

    Beef tips and Noodles

    Carol Darwish from Dearborn, Michigan

This was an easy dish. I added a little Adolf's meat tenderizer while meat was browning. Next time I'll add a little more seasoning salt also, but we loved this dish. My husband ate 1/2 the pot. I think I'll try mashed potatoes with it next time....

    YUMMM!!!!

    Christine from North Branch, NJ

I really enjoyed this recipe. It was very tasty and had great flavor. My husband thought it needed some salt, so he just added a dash or so to his. It was easy to make and I used Shoprite's store brand coffee, it turned out fine. I definitely will make this part of our monthly menu :)

    Not For 3 Year Olds!!

    Lori Robinson from Stuart, Florida

Very Good Recipe, but if I make it again, it will have to be for lunch, or I'll have to use decaf. Not all the caffeine cooks out of the beef, and my 3 year old was bouncing off the walls all night!! :o) Goes well with mashed potatoes, broccoli and buttermilk buscuites.

Turned into a Crock Pot dish.

    Marie Martin from Emmitsburg, MD

This was great. My in-laws and husband loved it. However, since I have such a busy schedule with the kids I use my crock pot a lot. You can use any form of beef this way, cut into chunk sizes. Follow the original recipe, however, after browning the meat, dump everything else in a crock pot including the meat, set on low, ready after 4 hours, but I let mine cook all day. I threw in some whole fresh white mushrooms and served steamed broc. on the side. The egg noodles only take 10 minutes, but I prepared mine in advance, added a cup of water to the crock pot right about dinnertime and then spooned out just the cup of fluid and tossed with the egg noodles. Enjoy this was great, cheap, easy.

    great meal

    valarie from ft wayne

i would like to say this was a very tasty dish, however i would warn cook's to be careful with the strength of their coffee. I like the rich tast however i would have toned down the coffee a little because it gave the meat a tart flavor!!!!
