Fun to make! This Big Pumpkin Cookie is just great for an afternoon in the kitchen with the children. Let them decorate to their heart's content once this giant cookie has cooled down.
- 1 pkg. (16.5 oz.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Bar Dough
- Frosting, decorator icing, sugar sprinkles, candies and/or melted chocolate (optional)
PREHEAT oven to 325° F. Grease large baking sheet.
PLACE whole bar of dough in prepared pan. Allow to soften for 5 to 10 minutes. Using fingertips, pat dough gently to form 8- to 9-inch pumpkin shape.
BAKE for 22 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes; carefully loosen cookie with spatula. Cool completely on baking sheet on wire rack.
DECORATE as desired.

Whenever I have tried to bake these kinds of things I rarely have any good luck getting the mess to cook evenly in the middle without over cooking the outer edges. Any suggestions?
