FILL celery with peanut butter. Press Raisinets into peanut butter.


Even the littlest hands can press RAISINETS into the log.

Help the children count out the raisin pieces or make little piles of 5 each. It's fun math!

For those who are still hungry, spread peanut butter on small round crackers and have the kids make eyes, nose and mouths with RAISINETS.

Have small baby carrots and apple wedges on hand for hungry kids to dip in peanut butter.

The only way to get celery into my daughter

This is the only way to get my daughter to eat celery. She likes them with just plain peanut butter too but the chocolate raisins makes it seem like candy to her and she gobbles it right up. Fast and easy way to make her eat celery.

Little Change, Not for real little kids!

Instead of raisians, try red hots candy on the peanut butter. Not many and not for the real young as they are small (choke hazard) But very good! Mmmmm! We Call this red ants on a log!

Bumps on a Log

These are really high in saturated fat and sugar. I would not consider this a healthy snack unless it was made with sugar free peanut butter. Also, why condition kids to have chocolate and consider it a "healthy" snack? Candy should be an occasional treat, not a regular afternoon thing.

As kids, we always made these with plain raisins and called them "Ants on a log", but the addition of the chocolate is a nice twist. A kid favorite for sure!
