    2 year olds loved 'em

    Shari Ostovar from Gainesville, FL

We had a birthday party for my daughter and 6 of her friends who all turn 2 around the same time. I made these minus the candy bars and they were a big hit! A very novel eating experience. While the recipe says to make the day of serving and another reviewer mentioned sogginess, I discovered that only the cones that are frosted become soggy the next day. I had a few extras and left them home, unfrosted. They next day, I frosted each as they were ready to be eaten--just as good as the originals. I did, however, have to toss the leftover frosted ones.

    My New Birthday Cake

    JIM APLIN from ORLANDO, FL

With my birthday coming up I went looking for something different. THIS IS IT! Easy to do. Only thing I did different was to put a NESTLÉ Crunch Candy Bar in place of the NESTLÉ BUTTERFINGER Candy Bar. Now it's easy to share my cake with friends & family!

    Big Hit

Dee Dee from St Louis MO

I had some extra cake batter left when making a birthday cake for a family member. Being frugal, I knew I couldn't just throw the excess batter away. Since there were plenty of ice cream cones in the pantry, I decided to make birthday cones to go with the cake. My 13 grandchildren (ages 1-1/2 to 11 years) didn't want any of the big cake, they all giggled and requested the Birthday Cake Cones

As a preschool teacher, I've seen parents bring in this special treat to celebrate their child's birthday. It's very popular with the little ones! I recommend that you invest in the baking pan/carrier that is offered on the back of the Joy icecream cone cups. It insures that the cones arrive in good condition!!

    Not too messy

    Julie Ramirez from VINCENNES, IN

With cake my kids dig in and make a big mess. This way even my 1 year old can hold it and doesn't make as big a mess. You can also hold back the icing. Less sugar, mess, and still taste great.
