These were good but needed a boost. I used 16 fun size bars and chilled the dough overnite. I baked them for only 10 minutes. To keep them chewy I put them in a sealed container with bread. I have made them twice and I love the idea of using Butterfinger Candy--Who doesn't love a Butterfinger, right? Great recipe--thanks for sharing this one!

Me and my friend, Samantha, baked these cookies for my Bf, Myles' Birthday. I am 13, and Smantha is 12. We enjoyed baking this so much we made them 3 times more in 2 days! We had to use all of our allowance to buy the butterfinger bars, though it was worth it. They were fantastic!

    Big Hit

    April from Westminster, MD

I made these for a cookie exchange last year, and was 100% satisfied. I was planning on trying a different recipe this year, but all the girls that were last year insisted that I make the same ones. I wasn't looking for cookies on a budget, but was very pleased that I was able to make 14 dozen cookies with only $7.00 worth of ingredients. The only reason that I gave four stars was that I felt they could use just a little something more. This year I am going to add chocolate chunk to them along with the butterfinger.

    Delicious!

    Zachary from Minnesota

Made these cookies with my girlfriend, and MAN did they turn out great! Kinda has the taste of a toffee cookie, but better. The only MINOR problem that we experienced was that the batter was really, really gooey - we had a tough time rolling them up into balls to put on the baking sheet. It was worth the effort, though!

    Delicious cookies!

JOANNE VOLLER from RURAL HALL, NC

I made a double batch of these today for the first time and they are delicious! I crushed a 12 oz bag of the snack size Butterfingers and that was plenty. Be careful w/your stand-up mixer as dough gets very thick and sticky. I had to stop the mixer and use a spatula to finish mixing. My family LOVES them and I'm sure they won't stick around long!

I'm so happy that I found this recipe here. Since we like Butterfingers and cookies, what a great combination. My husband has already eaten them all, and I guess I'm just gonna have to make them again. Can't wait to make these for work or a bake sale. Something different then the traditional cookies. I bet this recipe would be good with some other candies, hmm...I think I just might have to experiment!!

    YUMMY

    beth Ruyle from Phoenix, AZ

These are so good! They are a great recipe for making a small batch, rather than a large one. The dough is tasty, and if you like butterfingers you'll love these cookies. Be careful, though, not to overbake them. If you do that, they'll be too hard and chewy. I even recommend underbaking them and eating the whole batch right there in one sitting with a big jug of milk!
