    Loved This Cake!

Crystal Beckman from New Bedford, MA

I made this for Easter not really sure how it would go over (my hubby is not a fan of butterscotch). But everyone loved it! It was so flavorful and moist. The only thing I would suggest is to keep a close eye on how long you keep it in the oven. I've also found this tastes great with a vanilla whipped frosting. I'll be making this again for my son's birthday :)

    A Keeper!

I made this cake for Easter, everyone loved the taste. It was something different then the usual dessert. The only thing I did different was piped on cream cheese frosting and then butterscotch on top. Everyone couldn't wait to try it. This will definitely be a keeper!!

I liked the sound of this recipe. I didn't have any yellow cake mix,but I did have a banana cake mix. I used it and lessened the bananas also substitited peanut butter chips for the butterscotch. Cake was really moist, will add more chips the next time.

What a great flavor combination!! I oopsied...my cake was underbaked a little bit...but the flavors were still incredibly delicious! I will give it another shot...maybe bake at a lower temp for a little longer, as the outside was certainly baked correctly. I don't want to give up on this recipe yet--yum!!

My 12 year old son is learning how to bake in his Family Living class. He was looking for something to bake at home, so I gave him this recipe. He had no problem following the directions and the cake turned out perfect. It was very moist and we loved the flavor combination. It was soooo good that it didn't last more than a few days because we couldn't keep our hands off it.

    Butterscotch Banana Cake

Debbye Trueman from FRONT ROYAL, VA

I made this cake yesterday and it didn't come out the way I thought it should. I mixed everything the way it said and put it in the bundt pan just as it said to do. My cake stuck to the pan and I don't understand why because I did grease the pan. The flavor of the cake was very good I was just not happy with the way it came out. So I will have to try it again and hope next time that it comes out perfect.

I just finished making your recipe for Butterscotch Banana Cake, but I used Nestles'Semi Sweet Morsels instead. It came out fantastically. So very moist and it does not need a glaze. I am planning to serve it for desert for my family with strawberries and whipped cream! It was very easy to bake and enjoyed the time baking on my day off.

    It may just be me...

    Mika Jenkins from CHUBBUCK, ID

I was probably just having a bad day in the kitchen, but this recipe was nothing but trouble for me. I used the right size pan but the batter overflowed all over my oven. I let it stay in, hoping it could be salvaged, but even 5 minutes after the longest time given, only the banana cake part was cooked, not the butterscotch. Total mess. At least it smelled delicious though!

    Butterscotch Banana Cake

Retta Moen from PEACHTREE CITY, GA

This cake was very tasty, butterscotch and bananas made a nice combination of flavors. Nice serving dish presentation when this cake is sliced displaying yellow and butterscotch swirls. Very easy to make! Am going to remake this cake using less sugar, for myself I think the bananas and butterscotch adds just enough sweetness, I would use less sugar.

    Add Apples

    Jessica Jackson from Watertown, SD

I have modified the recipe by substituting apple sauce for the banana's. I add 3/4 cup sweetened apple sauce. This is one of my favorite cakes to make and eat. I make it quite frequently for work and my coworkers love it. Give this a try for a little variation of the recipe.
