Caramel oatmeal Chewies

My son loves oatmeal cookies and is away at college. I was looking for a different oatmeal cookie to send to him as a surprise. He and his room mates really loved this. He even CALLED home to thank me. A call home is rare from him. I promised to make these again and he promised to call again.

followed the recipe exactly...with a glass of milk yummmm

Great for Gift Giving

I made them for the holidays as gifts in little bags for my nieces and nephews. Unfortunately the adults were eating them from their children so I must make more for Valentine's day gift bags. My son said they could'nt have been healthy because they were too addicting (he ate about 7 in a matter of minutes).
