I made these cookies and all the adults liked them. I made another batch but used candies in it instead so if there was anyone who did not like butterscotch. I also tried a batch with splenda because some of us are diabetic, it worked out great also. I loved all three batches. Thanks for the good cookie recipe.

Carrie Riewe from Prior Lake, MN

I love this cookie. I knew I would from the minute I was creaming the butter, to the time I sampled the dough, to the fresh-out-of-the-oven goodness, and even after they've cooled. Wow. The texture is what has gotten me--so perfectly chewy and delicious. I'm excited to share these with others! What a great new addition to my recipe box!

I made them as a "thank you" for some people who work at my son's school. They cook really nicely and look good as well as taste good! If they were for me I'd probably cut back a bit on the sugar but I'm sure that it's just a family preference.

    Hands down - #1

    michelle costante-hamm from CAMBRIDGE, MA

Everyone that has every eaten from this recipe has loved it - even if they weren't butterscotch fans (the butterscotch chips are nothing like those hard brittle candies - they're delicious). Very chewy, this recipe makes a lot, but you'll need them. The graham cracker crumbs add something special to it.

  • Star(s)

    Dianne Brubaker from Sturgis, MI

I really enjoyed this cookie! And it was so easy to make. It reminds me of a butterscotch pudding pie! I think I will use this recipe to make a pie crust sometime! I would have liked to know how many graham crackers to use to get two cups of crumbs, but otherwise, it was a breeze. My kids loved it too! Yum!
