I believed these brownies were going to be chewy but they really weren't. They certainly were chocolatey and their flavor was good but I don't think I'll be making them again.

    They ALL love them!

Annette Parrish from MYAKKA CITY, FL

I first made these for my sons wrestling team last year. Now I have to make them not only for the wrestling team but for the track & field team and the football team! What started out for a few has grown to many but it's worth it! I have a standing order from a few who wants the Chocolate Lover's Frosting on them. What a HIT!

I made these one night on a whim and they were very moist and chewy. Maybe I did something wrong though because they fell apart easily. We liked the texture, but hard to eat.

joel tedder from FORT DODGE, IA

I made so many of these, that I had to stop myself, before i got everyone fat. I made many different types. this is one brownie that you can do so much to and add many different types of nuts. This scores an A+ on my book.

    FATH MITCHEL from JOHNSTON, RI

This recipe was easy to make. The brownies are so moist. What a hit in our family! My sister-in-law is very fussy and she requested a copy!

  • Star(s)

    Very good brownies

    Crystal from Maine

I made a few adjustments and I think maybe I may have found a solution for those that like the less chewy cake brownies. I used an ounce or two less chocolate. a full 8oz seemed like so much chocolate so I cut it back a bit and they were still very chocolatey and great taste but didn't seem as chewy. I also added pecans to mine. my family doesn't care for walnuts much. They were delicious. My kids love these with some cherry vanilla ice cream on top

  • Star(s)

    delicious and easy

    Diane Trice from LINDSAY, CA

I made them late one night and was gonna use them as gifts to some special friends. When i got up the next morning my husband had given half the pan to a friend who stops and has coffee with him on his morning walk. Later I was gonna take some to a girlfriend and my husband had given the rest to the next door neighbor. Needless to say I have to bake more. Love the ease of making them and the taste. I got one brownie. A sure fire recipe for my list of christmas goodies.

  • Star(s)

    Super Easy

    Jennifer Conway from Plantation, FL

I though this recipe was super easy. I made some changes to jazz it up a bit. I added about 3/4 cup of butterscotch chips and 3/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Also to top it off I placed some marshmallows on top after it was done baking and spread them around after they were melty. Eveyone LOVED them!

After they were cooled, I cut them into squares and sprinkled with powdered sugar. They weren't sinkers like regular boxed brownies either. Nice a fluffy!! I will make these again and again!!!
