Actually, I was looking for a different recipe when I stumbled upon this one. It's like one we used to make when I was a kid. Although, in this case I substituted peanut butter for the marshmallows. It's very good!

    Delicious!

    Rachelle Warnick from Bellevue, PA

I have always made Chocolate No Bake Cookies -- but never like this! These are scrumptious! You just have to be prepared to stir quickly because once you pour the oatmeal in, it starts to set the dough. The cooler it gets, the harder it is to stir and to get everything mixed in quickly.

I HAVE ALWAYS USED COCOA FOR MY NO BAKES, AND USED VERY LITTLE BECAUSE I DIDN'T LIKE THE HARSH TASTE. I WAS SO GLAD TO SEE YOUR RECIPE, I WILL BE USING IT FOR NOW ON. THE PEANUT BUTTER CHIPS ARE GOOD ALSO. WONDERFUL RECIPE.

I have been on line since Friday Dec. 20/02 trying to find a recipe similar to my mothers' for Chocolate Macaroons. This is so close that I can improvise a little and it will be the same. Thank you so much. The only person in my family who wouldn't have tbeir favourite treat would have been my middle daughter. Now she can. Again thank you.
