Review This Recipe
This recipe was fun and easy to use! Such a great recipe for quick and easy party food that is easy to serve to guests!
Quick and Delish
I needed a recipe I could make ahead of time and take to an office party the next day. The preperation was a sanp and the spirals were a huge hit. I wish had made an extra batch.
I got this recipe about a year ago and I just love them! My co-workers request I make these at every party. Very good, easy appetizer!
CHILE AND CHEESE SPIRALS
THESE ARE SO DELICIOUS. ADD CHOPPED JALAPENO PEPPERS. EVERYONE LOVED THEM. THE RECIPE WENT HOME WITH EVERYONE. THANK YOU.
I've made spirals before and they have always gone over well, until this recipe. Everyone loved them and asked where I got the recipe from. I doubled the recipe, added taco seasoning, and used whole wheat reduced fat tortillas. I also brought along fat free sour cream and salsa. I will definitely make again.
What a party pleaser! This has become a favorite any time guests are over! My picky son even loves them!
chile and cheese spirals
This worked out GREAT! last night we had unexpected guests pop in, and I was at a loss as to what to serve them, I had found this recipe and I had EVERYTHING I needed in the refrigerator and cupboards, So, I made these and we had a big bowl of homnemade soup to go along with it, you saved the day for me with recipe. Thanks
They will disappear!
Everyone loves these! I add half a pack of taco seasoning to the cream cheese for a little extra kick.
chileand cheese spirals
Awesome! so convienet for any type of occasion and so simple and inexpesnsive to make. They are also very filling so you don't need to serve a whole lot at one time. Thier a meal in its self. Nutritional too.
I have made these NUMEROUS times...I add Rotel to give it some more color and everyone loves them! So easy to make! They are so delicous that you eat them without salsa or sour cream!!
So good and easy to make! Great for lunch!
I made these on the weekend for the family during the Sunday football games...they absolutely loved them. Very easy and I used jalepeno peppers which made it really hot, hot, hot.
Easy and excellent
Delicious and very easy to make. I made this appetizer for my company's Fiesta party and they were gone the minute I put them on the table. Lot of people asked me for the recipe. I can't believe that this was so easy to make. I have never made any dish so fast. My husband loved it too. I am definitely going to make this again.
I have tried several different varieties of tortilla spirals. These were by far the best I have ever had. So much flavor and great presentation. I used 8oz package of cream cheese! Delicious!
Chili and Cheese Spirals
I loved these quick and easy appetizers. I combined a bit of mayo with the salsa to use as the dip. Delicious! Everyone loved this "New" Years hors d'oeuvre!
Quick, fun, and yummy!
These were a hit at the last potluck! They are very colorful and flavorful. I would recommend making a double batch.
Make a DOUBLE recipe!
I took these to a potluck. They were so popular, they were devoured in just a few minutes time.
I wish I had made a second batch so I could have eaten more myself...
This is the best recipe for parties. I have made them for several different parties, and it never fails that someone wants the recipe. But, I think that if you're thinking of making them, to make a little more than you expect to be eaten. I've run out on several occasions, much to the dismay of others. This recipe is so easy and wonderful, not to mention that it doesn't put a dent in the wallet, but it tastes like it does. YUM!
This recipe was soooooooooooooo good. Made it for daughters birthday party and the kids and the adults loved it. The longer it sits the more flavouful it gets.
These are a favorite of mine and my husband! I make them quite often. They are so easy and delicious! Friends & family are now requesting them on a regular basis. YUMMY!
My grandson loves its
We made this for a group of scouts. It was a big hit. Wwe did put in a little more cheese.
THIS IS GREAT FOR WHEN MY HUSBAND & I ARE WATCHING FOOTBALL. GOES GREAT WITH OUR BEER.
Great recipe! Very easy to make - love that you can do it ahead of time.
I served these at a family get-together and afterwards everyone wanted the recipe!
Very poor recipe
This recipe can never have gone through a test kitchen. I follwed the recipe very carefully because it was the first time I had made it. The filling for the spirals was soupy (i.e., it squirted out the sides of the tortillas pretty easily). Also, there is no way you can fit a 1/2 cup of the stuff into a soft taco-sized tortilla shell. Therefore, you end up with about twice the amount of filling you need, and what can you do with that? It's too rich even to serve on crackers or chips; I tried. I was very unimpressed with this recipe.
I made these as a quick make ahead appetizer for the family get together. I was surprised how fast they disappeared! Everybody loved them. They were easy to make - I will definitely make them again. The salsa was a nice addition, but not really necessary. The green chiles added a little flavor, but didn't make them too spicy. Great choice!
They were delicious. My family finally got a chance to try something new and different.
These were great
I've made these a few times and love them - and they are very easy to make. Different than the usual appetizer like this.
Very Easy & Tasty Too!
These are so easy to make & great for potlucks or bringing to a gathering as a snack. We left out the olives since we don't like them. I liked the overall taste, but the raw peppers made it crunchy, which seemed odd. I also don't think you need the salsa to dip them with, but maybe you could add salsa in the mix?
Impressive Appetizer for a party
This recipe is so simple. Yet, everyone thinks I'm an amazing cook. I took these to a party once and my friends and family request them at every gathering now.
A big hit!
I took these to a church event and people wanted my recipe! Very easy to make, delicious to eat.
Stupendous? Not really.....
I've tried eating a few of these just this afternoon and I can't say that they were delicious exactly... They were more mediocre than anything else. I tasted more cream cheese which really mellowed out the allover taste. I'm not too big of a fan of olives, however I tried both the spirals with and without olives and found the taste to be moderately the same. All in all the "Chile and Cheese Spirals" were mundane, bland, and only for those who enjoy that type of cooking.
I made these for an adult Halloween party and everyone loved them! They are incredibly easy to make! I don't think you'll need to dip them in salsa...they are plenty tasty on their own!
Everyone loved it... even the cat
My son is a vegetarian; he loved it. My husband is a meat eater; he loved it. The cat is a 4 legged garbage disposal; he loved it. I took it to a party; they loved it. Very easy to make. Cut off the ends of the rolls and the cat ate that.
I had made these for a party and they were the first thing to go.
All we can say is YUM................
Easy and a Crowd pleaser!
This recipe is so simple and everyone loves these. You could pretty much put anything you want in them! You can also make them a day in advance. After you roll them up, wrap them in saran wrap. Let them sit in the fridge over night and slice them when you aready for them. That will free you up for other recipes that you can't do ahead of time! Excellent!
This recipe is SOOO easy to make!! I took this recipe to a party recently (I made it as an emegcency standby when a "no fail appetizer recipe FAILED) where it was a HUGE hit. I doubled the recipe and made a lot more appetizers and NOT ONE was left. The only thing I changed was I omitted the red pepper and used half a white onion instead of the green onion because they are ingredients that I had on hand. These appetizers are not only easy to make and taste great, but they also make a nice presentation arranged on a platter with the salsa in a bowl in the center for dipping. Every one thinks I'm a culinary genius now!! THANKS A MILLION!
I took these to a party and they were a big hit, especially with the kids. They didn't even notice all the great vegies inside. I do suggest a double batch, they go fast.
boys loved it
We had a family gathering and I made this as one of the appetisers. Everyone loved it and I was asked to make it for a family get together the following weekend. Thanks for the help.
I had these at my best friend's party and decided to try them with a diffrent twist. I used sun dried tomato wraps. It was very good and a hit at my family's July 4th party.
These are a big hit!
The only change that I made was that I spread a thin layer of refried beans on the tortilla first.
My friend served something like this at a barbeque
I thought that I would try these at a family barbeque. My relatives really enjoyed these. I normally do not eat chilies, but this recipe is definitely a winner. I remember tasting a similar type of wrap at a recent barbeque and thought that I would try this. It tastes very similar to my friends and I will definitely take this to future potlucks and barbeques:)! Thanks my-meals.com:)!
Always a hit!
These are great, and very easy to make! Every time a family party or work party gets planned, there are always a number of people asking me to bring these!!! I can't keep the plates full - they go so quickly! I recommend these to anyone who wants to impress a crowd, even if your not a "master chef"!
Try them fried
I make a similar recipe in which I add about 1/2 the ingredients to each flour tortilla. After rolling the tortilla, I fry them in olive oil until browned on both sides, let them sit for a few minutes, then cut into pieces and serve with salsa to dip them in. My family loves these for football munchies.
chili and cheese spirals
We had these at a baseball picnic, only we added shreded carrots also
they were mediocre too much cheese
I was invited to an office party,
when someone suggested I try one of the
spirals. My mouth went WOW! It was fantastic
so I asked for the recipe right away. I can't
wait to try these on my family. I like simple
and easy to make meals and this is GREAT!
Someone brought these to a pot luck our office was having. They were excellent!
This was the surprise hit of the night. I made them without the onion or chiles so I thought they were kind of boring; but, the plate was wiped clean.
These were very tasty but watch out on the green onion. I put a little too much in and it can be powerful. Otherwise great!
