Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup creamy peanut butter
6 cups oven-toasted rice cereal
1 cup (6 oz.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup (6 oz.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Butterscotch Flavored Morsels

Directions:

GREASE 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

COMBINE sugar and corn syrup in large, heavy-duty saucepan; bring just to a boil over medium heat. stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter. Stir in cereal. Press into prepared baking pan.

MELT chocolate and butterscotch morsels in medium, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; STIR. The morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10 to 15-second intervals, stirring just until smooth. Spread over cereal mixture. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until firm.

I absolutley love these bars. When I make them I increase the sugar, syrup, and peanut butter to 1 1/4 Cup each and decrease the crispie rice cereal to 5 cups. Each year our county fair has a special baking day and one year it was these bars. My sister and I each entered, she used crunchy peanut butter and I use smooth. The judges couldn't decide which was the best so we both won 1st place.

When I was 15 yrs old I saw this recipe on the back of Nestle chocolate chips bag. It seemed easy to make and it was. I made these bars every chance I got. As the years went on I forgot about them until I had my own kids. I made them and they enjoyed them so much they were still hot when we ate them. The whole pan was gone in about a day and a half. Fast easy recipe I recommend it to anyone who like chocolate and peanut butter.
