    JUST LIKE HOME

    claudia jimenez from Griffith, IN

I am Mexican and this is a very good hot chocolate. It brought me back memories of how my mother used to make this for us as children and always use to give us pan dulce or "sweet mexican bread" to go with it. Thanks for those beautiful moments.... :-)

We just got back from Mexico City, where we had divine hot chocolate every morning for breakfast. I've been trying to find the right combination to reproduce the taste, and this is it! Evaporated milk makes the difference - gracias!

My grandmother make us this hot chocolate when we were kids but she uses a "molinillo" to melt the chocolate and make a lot of frothy, but I use the blender to make the same thing, just put the chocolate in pieces in the blender then add the water and milk (hot but not boiled) turn in on and enjoy it.

Chocolate Caliente or Mexican Hot Chocolate

    Carole Finney from Harrisville, OH

We really like hot chocolate at our house. This is the best recipe that I have ever made. My family usually finds something wrong about hot chocolate. It has to be just right and this is.
