    WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS RECIPE??

Terri Losito from East Northport, NY

I read all the reviews and wanted to make these toffee bars. Well they went right into the garbage! It said to pour the batter into the pan...what batter? All I had was a crumbly mixture which I pressed into the bottom of the pan and baked. Then spread the chocolate and pecans on top. It was a dry mess. I even called Nestle's while I was in the process of mixing it because I figured there had to be a problem with the mixture or the recipe was wrong. I wish I knew what happened. Usually every recipe I get off this site is a keeper.
