    Delicious, yum yum

    Neeta Jain from Bronx, NY

This recipe is very easy to make. The first time I tried it, it was delicious but not as creamy. So the second time I substituted 50% of the half and half with heavy cream and I found the ice cream to be more creamy. Also since I tend to make large batches, I found that storing it in small containers and thawing in microwave for a few seconds before serving helps retain the smooth and creamt texture of the ice cream. Love it and will definitely make again. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Yummy Chocolate Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

For the chocolate lover in all of us. My dad used to make this for us as kids. We had a hand crank ice cream maker and we used to take turns cranking. We could not wait for the ice cream to be done. It was so delicious, and well worth the wait.

This is an easy and delicious recipe. I add a little bit of almond flavoring to it just because I think chocolate and almonds taste good together.

easy eatin' in the chocolate neighborhood!

DONNA WATSON from GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH

This is the ultimate chocolate ice cream. I have a donvier ice cream freezer (GET ONE OF THESE!!!) and with in twenty minutes we were eating decadence. That word seems to be used often on this site, but there just isn't any other word to describe this. I experimented with different chocolate: the DARK, semi sweet and milk. Wow. You can leave out the eggs, and not cook it using the donvier, also!

    april r from

I've been experimenting with chocolate ice cream for some time. This ice cream recipe "tops the cone"! Very simple to make with minimal ingredients and minimal preparation time. The consistency is smooth and creamy with a rich chocolate taste. Very refreshing. The only ice cream that was gone following our ice cream social. Definitely a keeper.

    yummy & so easy

    e meade from eugene, OR

This was so easy to make and tasted so good. It gave my family and I so many ideas on what to put in it the next time I make it which will be soon. I forgot to chop up the chips so the chips were hard to chew and thought next time about using smaller chips. I't was also hard to get out of the pan to serve, not sure if i did something wrong there but the desert was so good, everyone loved it & was worth waitng for. Can't wait to make it again and try different flavors.

This recipe is as easy as it sounds. I added pecans as well and the ice cream was delicious. Rather than returning the ice cream to the 9X13 pan after mixing, I put it in individual serving size containers to finish freezing and simplify storage.
