Chocolate Covered Cherry Pie
Make this Chocolate Covered Cherry Pie and invite a few friends over to enjoy.
- 1 graham cracker pie crust
- 1 cup (6 oz.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 1 can (14 oz.) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 8 maraschino cherries, stemmed

MIX in cherry pie filling and almond extract. Pour into the prepared graham cracker pie crust.
CHILL at least 2 hours. Garnish with 8 stemmed maraschino cherries.

chocolate covered cherry pie
This pie has a delicious flavor, but it is entirely too sweet for my liking. It was so rich it made my tongue tingle after a few bites. My children loved it.
I made this pie for our Potluck group. Everyone loved it. Truly a delicious and easy to make pie. I did top each piece with whipped cream and then put the cherry on top.
At Christmas time, my family wanted a chocolate pie and a cherry pie, so I thought I would compromise and find a recipe that was for both. This pie was easy to make and so delicious! Everyone loved it and they ask for it often!
