    Chocolate Oatmeal Chippers

I just made a batch of these and they came out so delicious! My son doesn't like oatmeal and can usually spot it in a cookie a mile away but he had no clue that it was in these! They came out so chewy which are my favorite kinds of cookies. I'm going to have to make another batch now for my husband since my son and I are going to polish this batch off. Very good warm with a glass of ice cold milk.

These cookies are not only chocolatey yummy, they are even a little bit good for you because of the oatmeal. Takes some of the guilt out of eating chocolate cookies! They were a big hit with my nieces & nephews. They are also very easy to make and don't require any special ingredients - a bonus in my book!

These are great for a change from regular chocolate chip cookies. I like the fact that they have oatmeal in them for fiber. My husband says they taste better cooled whereas he prefers regular chocolate chip cookies warm. I'm going to try the bar cookie variation soon.

I thought they were very easy to make and they were nice and chewy. I did not have enough of the milk chocolate chips, so I added some premier white morsels. I personally thought they were too sweet. Next time I will make sure I have enough chocolate morsels.

It was a nice change of pace from the traditional recipe. Want to make it again and try it with peanut butter and/or pecans.

    A New Favorite!?

Becky Spaid from Mc Intyre, PA

These cookies are the greatest!! I made a batch today for the first time and they turned out wonderful. It is the first time I made cookies that came out soft and stayed soft! I only added 1 cup of chocolate chips and that was plenty. I think adding the full amount may have made them too sweet. Will be making these quite often.

These cookies are awesome! My husband first made them at home and we couldn't get enough of them! They are very addicting! They do take some time to prepare, but they are definitely worth it!
