I just made these cookies to use for a cookie exchange. They are good tasting, but you feel you need a glass of milk. They do melt in your mouth. But the glass of milk made them desolve, so eat the cookie and then have a glass of milk to wash it down.

These cookies were simple and quick to make. Nice cookie for those chocolate cravings. Instead of using powdered cocoa, I used 3 (1 oz. each) packets of the soft unsweetened chocolate. Worked great. Mixed it in with the butter mixture before adding the flour mixtures

    Disappearing cookies

    Virginia Parrish from BONIFAY, FL

Knowing I love to bake, the youth choir director at church asked me to bake some cookies for the kids. I thought the recipe for Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies sounded good, so made a batch. I covered them with plastic wrap and left them sitting on the bar. Several times during the day, I saw my husband walk over to the bar, lift the plastic wrap and snitch a cookie. When he saw that I had "caught" him, he said, "These are pretty good." From a guy that rarely compliments my cooking, this was a 5-star comment. I took out a couple more for him, and put the cookies in a safe place so there'd be some left for the kids.
