Well I didn't think much would top the 7 layer bars that everyone seems to love but this did. I did make a substitution, I did not have a cake mix so I used a brownie mix and added a little more pretzels. I used peanut butter and milk chocolate pieces as well as semisweet. Boy are these good. The base tastes better than the typical graham cracker. (Who doesn't love fudgy chocolaty stuff!) Well this is going to be my "go to" recipe when I need to make a bar cookie for work or unexpected company. Fast and easy and delicous who could ask for more?

These were delicious and so easy to make. They are VERY rich. I shouldn't have broken the pretzels so much because I couldn't taste them. I recommend this recipe for the ease of preparation, but I prefer the taste of the "Chunky Pecan Pie bars" also listed on this site.

I made these for the guys at work for father's day. They devoured them. They keep asking when I am making them again. The only thing I did different was I did not put the nuts in. (I don't put nuts in any of my baked goods) These were awsome and EASY to make, can't wait to make them again.

I made these for a quick treat when friends came over and they were a hit! I might have crushed the pretzels too much because I couldn't taste the saltiness. Also, I think 30 minutes is too long, my coconut burned! Other than that, they were very sweet and scrumptious!

These bars are a nice change from the tradition magic bars. I really liked the salty, crunch from the pretzels. I put extra pretzels in the crust so you could really taste them. It was quick and simple to make. The next time, I'm going to use a brownie mix instead of a cake mix to make it more moist.

I really enjoyed these bars. I needed a quick dessert for a friend, and this was the one I chose. I knew she wouldn't want a 9x13 pan of these bars sitting around her house tempting her, so I made it in 2 8" pans. One for her family, one for ours.
