In my family I am the go to person for yummy desserts since I love to bake. I am always looking for something simple, yet delicious. This pie looks and tastes like a winner and I am going to surprise my family this Thanksgiving with one of these! Of course I made it beforehand so my kids could sample it at home. This was very easy to make and tasted amazing. It was not too sweet (and I was afraid it would be by using a whole bag of chocolate chips). It really tasted like a light mousse!

    Family Favorite

    KELLEY BREAULT from PITTSFIELD, MA

This pie is easy to make. I usually make one every Thanksgiving to bring to my brother's house for one of the desserts. Well, my brother tells me I'm making the chocolate velvet pie. Normally there are a few desserts put out to choose from. For some reason, my brother forgets to put the chocolate velvet pie out to share with the family. Someone always asks if I brought my famous velvet pie this year and my brother quickly says, "No she forgot it". The pie is rich, creamy and full of flavor. It tastes like no other pie you have had. It is similar to a light airy cheesecake.

    Ashlie Averyt from Burleson, TX

Ever since the first time I made this pie I've had to make at least one for each holiday. It's one of the most indulgent pies I've ever had! You definitely want to have some milk on hand though. This is a very rich dessert! Also, make sure to whip the cream nice and thick before you mix it into the pie. If it's too thin the pie won't come out quite as firm.

    ~~ AMAZING LITTLE BAKER ~~

    Danielle from

This pie was amazing!!! When I made in the summer I had so many compliments about how I was "An Amazing Little Baker". There were no leftovers, because the pie was gone in minutes once I had garnished it with whipped cream and chocolate. Ever since then, I have had non-stop compliments. So when my aunt had a party, I had to make it again. And may I say, it tasted wonderful! I made this in 20 minutes! And it was so easy! It looked, smelled, and most importantly tasted wonderful! I am so glad I found this recipe at meals.com!

This is actually a no bake chocolate cheesecakes. It is the best chocolate cheesecake that I have had. It is light and fluffy, not heavy. I thought that it would be more f a chocolatey pie but it was more cheesy than I would have liked. I'm not a big fan of chocolate cheesecake, but I would highly recommend this recipe to anyone who is.
