"Making Christmas cookies is always a fun way to get the kids in the kitchen & my boys love decorating Christmas cookies. These Christmas Cookie Pops are very easy for kids to make themselves & the Holiday Nerds make these cookies so bright & festive. They also taste wonderful & my boys loved them!"


  • 1/2 tub NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
  • WONKA® Frosty NERDS®
  • WONKA® Holiday NERDS® Rope
  • Lollipop sticks

Start out by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper (you can also use nonstick cooking spray). Have the kids scoop out the Nestlé chocolate chip cookie dough. We like to use an ice cream scoop, but you can also use a spoon...

Place the scoops about 2 inches apart. Then let the kids press down to flatten just a bit using their fingers...

Then poke in the lollipop.

Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly browned. While the cookies are baking have the kids measure out 1 cup of powdered sugar in a large bowl. Mix in 1 1/2 tablespoons of milk and stir with a spoon until well blended. When the cookies are done place them on a rack to cool for about 15 minutes. Then frost the cookies with the icing. After they frost each cookie they can decorate using the WONKA® Frosty NERDS® or WONKA® Holiday NERDS® Rope. You can make a fun spiral with the WONKA® Holiday NERDS® Rope, or cut the NERDS® Rope into 6 equal pieces using kitchen scissors & shape the strips into a star. I like my boys to decorate after frosting each cookie to make sure the candy sets before the icing dries...
