"Making Christmas cookies is always a fun way to get the kids in the kitchen & my boys love decorating Christmas cookies. These Christmas Cookie Pops are very easy for kids to make themselves & the Holiday Nerds make these cookies so bright & festive. They also taste wonderful & my boys loved them!"
- 1/2 tub NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
- WONKA® Frosty NERDS®
- WONKA® Holiday NERDS® Rope
- Lollipop sticks
Directions, Reviews, Nutrition
Place the scoops about 2 inches apart. Then let the kids press down to flatten just a bit using their fingers...
Then poke in the lollipop.
Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly browned. While the cookies are baking have the kids measure out 1 cup of powdered sugar in a large bowl. Mix in 1 1/2 tablespoons of milk and stir with a spoon until well blended. When the cookies are done place them on a rack to cool for about 15 minutes. Then frost the cookies with the icing. After they frost each cookie they can decorate using the WONKA® Frosty NERDS® or WONKA® Holiday NERDS® Rope. You can make a fun spiral with the WONKA® Holiday NERDS® Rope, or cut the NERDS® Rope into 6 equal pieces using kitchen scissors & shape the strips into a star. I like my boys to decorate after frosting each cookie to make sure the candy sets before the icing dries...
The WONKA® Frosty NERDS® are fun for the kids to sprinkle on the cookie pops...
Let the kids get creative with their holiday NERDS® & see what design they come up with! You can even put the cookie pops in a cellophane bag and give as a gift!
