i made the recipe, and then divided it in two, used half the batter as plain peanut butter cookies, and added chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips to the remaining half. Loved them both, especially the chips ones!!! will definately make again!!

    Good

    Andrea M from Morrisonville, NY

I just finished baking these cookies. They are very easy to make and they taste good. I love peanut butter and its not overpowering in these cookies. They did turn out a little flatt though. that might have been from slightly melting my butter a little more because i had no time to let it soften.

    very yummy!

    Brittany Allsop from Provo, UT

Theses cookies were excellent! My husband seriously ate 6 in one sitting. They are more of a flat cookie so if you're expecting fluffy this isn't the one.

    Great Recipe

    Trisha Brantingham from Arizona

I tried this recipe the other day. I wanted to make something a little different. They turned out great. I love the hint of cinnamon in them. I love that they are soft and chewy also. I hate hard crunchy cookies. I think the peanut butter helped with making them soft. I will definitely make these again. My husband loved them.

    Allison Woods from HARRISON, AR

I didn't have enough chocolate chips after my son found the bag, so I used raisins for the rest of what I lacked. It came out tasting great, however I think next time I buy two bags of chips one for the cookies and one for the walking appetite.

    like stale cake

    Kristin Valdez from APO, AE

yuck those were terrible! i'm sticking with my tried and true peanut butter cookie recipe and just adding choc chips to it. the consistency was like old cake, they were soft, mushy and mealy.

I loved these cookies! I was looking for something original but a little different to give to my new neighbors as a welcome gift. They turned out very light and very moist.I liked the slight taste of the cinnamon with the peanut butter & chocolate. My neighbors enjoyed them too. I will definitely make again!

    Good, but crumbly

    Donna Abend from NEWARK, OH

My husband and I (and everyone else who had a taste of these cookies) thought they were delicious. But, they didn't hold together. They crumbled in your hand. Perhaps I should made sure that each portion was held together well before I placed it on the cookie sheet and flattened them before baking. I don't know why they crumbled, but they did. It certainly did not effect the taste.

    Barbara Buck from Danville, CA

These are great cookies. I used chunky Peanut butter,(because that is what I always have in the house) and it was delicious. When you mix the butter, sugars, peanut butter, vanilla and eggs together, really beat well until it is fluffy as your cookies will be lighter. Enjoy these, they are great. P.S. Don't overbake!!

    Double Flavors

    Linda Hughes from PHOENIX, AZ

These peanut butter cookies with chocolate are very good! I will definitely bake them again, only next time I will add more peanuts or add a different nut. It was a little tricky removing from baking sheets to the cooling racks since they were so soft. So I let them cool a short time on the baking sheets.

  • Star(s)

    Superb and moist!

    Sherry Duncan from Butler, PA

I just loved this recipe! The hint of cinnamon was just enough to give it a different taste. My family thought these were one of the best Choc. Chip cookie that I've made. I even used the choc. p'nut butter swirled chips. All I can say is EXCELLENT!

    Very good, I voted 5,husband gave them a 3

Susan Campbell from GRASS LAKE, MI

(Don't listen to him, he doesn't like peanut butter) The cinnamon is not definable as a separate ingredient. Like the flavor of dark chocolate, there is just a certain little quirk to the flavor. These are really great cookies, recipe as written.

Chunky Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

    Jennifer McGrath from Biddeford, ME

I loved the taste of these cookies with the cinnamon. I usually don't have luck with peanut butter cookies, they crumble on me. These were moist and held their shape. I definitely will make these again!

    A Great Cookie!!

Janet Rosenwinkel from CROWN POINT, IN

I made these cookies today with a couple of changes and my family loved them! I did add 1 1/2 cups of flour, and used crunchy peanut-butter instead of adding the peanuts. I also baked them at a lower temp 350, instead of the 375 temp. Will make these again but will have to double the recipe in order to last longer than 1 day with my teenage sons.
