Review This Recipe
My son said it had no taste what soever. It was not not having to use full cream like other recipes but it needs something to flavor it up more.
It is okay.
I know that cilantro is very popular, and I keep trying differnt things with it, but I find I just don't care for it. Nothing against the recipe, just not a fan of one key ingredient.
It is delicious!
The cilantro sauce is scrumptious. My family loves it and asks for it often.
After reading all the reviews, I've decided to make this for dinner tonight. I have all the ingredients since I shopped yesterday. I will take the advice of many of the reviewers and zip up the spice factor. The fact it had cilantro was what made me want to try this. I bought a bunch and wasn't sure what I would do with it. Now I know! My husband says I have taste buds in my brain since I can read a recipe and have a close idea of what it will taste like.
I love all the ingredients in this recipe, but my favorite is the amount of cilantro. I use cilantro on salads and burgers. This recipe is awesome!
Not bad, not great
I was not impressed with the sauce. It had too much cilantro flavor...and seemed like it was just missing something. Teh sauce was good, but I will not make it again.
Very good and easy recipe. I served over wild rice and garnished with goat cheese. Everyone loved it.
This cream sauce was a hit at a household with some very picky adult eaters !
cilantro cream sause over chicken
Creamy, rich, and sooo delicious!
nice add to plain chicken
pretty simple add to plain chicken, I used 5 tablespoons of spice since I didnt have fresh cilantro, still good
I served this sauce over grilled chicken seasoned with a mesquite salt seasoning. The sides were a black bean and corn medley topped with a little chunky salsa, mashed potatoes with pepperjack cheese blended in and, Cheddar and jalepeno cornbread. The family RAVED about the sauce!
Cilantro Cream Sauce over Chicken
This was okay, had a really boring taste. I will have to spice it up next time.
cilantro cream sauce
I thought this recipe worked very well. I wasn't sure about it when it called for the flour to be added at the end, sometimes the raw flour taste doesn't quite leave. I added a little salt and a squeeze of lime to compiment the soft flavor of the cilantro and my whole family loved it.
I really liked this recipe. Next time to give it a kick, I am going to try adding a jalepeno pepper to the blending step.
LOVE THAT CILANTRO!
THIS SAUCE REALLY DRESSES UP THE MEAL. YOU'LL WANT TO SERVE WINE WITH IT FOR A NICE CASUAL ELEGANCE.
Tastes Pretty Good
Well, I made this for dinner last night and my cilantro sauce turned out to be very green. This recipe actually tastes good, but I'm glad it was just my husband and me, because I think some people might have a problem with the color and texture combination for the cream sauce. Let me repeat though, it does taste good and it smells good too.
Eh...I'm not sure
Eh....I'm not sure why I didn't like this. I thought it was kind of bland. Just chicken and cilantro. It needs...something else. More flavor.
Full of Flavor
This sauce was an excellent additional to a plain meal of chicken breasts and rice. I used only 1/2 of the cilantro suggested, but was still extremlly pleased with the flavor that it added to my meal. My husband specifically requested that I make this again.
I love the cilantro flavor in this meal!
