Craggy-Topped Fudge Brownies
An interesting presentation for delicious brownies.
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, (1 stick)
- 2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, divided
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts

HEAT sugar and butter in medium, heavy-duty saucepan over low heat, stirring until butter is melted. Remove from heat. Add 1 1/4 cups morsels; stir until melted. Stir in eggs. Add flour, vanilla extract and baking soda; stir until flour is incorporated. Spread into prepared baking pan.
BAKE for 18 to 22 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky.
SPRINKLE with remaining morsels and nuts while still hot. Cover with foil; refrigerate until cooled completely.

Yummy Craggy- Topped Fudge Brownies
These Brownies was so easy to make and taste better than my recipe.I make this for my kids and they said that is was perfect they are very picky.They went and got my other recipe of Brownies and threw it away.I guess I definatey will make this again and again.

When I got this recipe, I made it for a potluck at work and everyone loved it so much, they didnt beleive it was made from scratch. I've made brownies before but this recipe seemed so much easier and taste great.
The Best Brownies Ever
These are the easiest brownies I've ever made from scratch. My family didn't care for the chocolate chips on top so I omit them and frost the brownies instead. I took some to a friend at church and now almost every Sunday her husband tells how good there were. I'm sure this will be my standard brownie repice from now on.
I Must'a Goofed!
My brownies were too dry! I followed the recipe exactly! The first batch was so dry that I tried a second and they were the same way. Brownies have just never been my strong suit.
