Seal end by moistening with water. Repeat steps with remaining ingredients. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Cream Chesse Chocolate Chip Pastry

Excelent for a yummy and easy treat.

OK

These treats were okay but since you slice and bake these cookies the chips on the cookie sheet side get overly done.

Better once they have cooled completely

I made these and tried them right out of the oven and was not that impressed (I actually threw the recipe away because I thought I would not make them again). They were much better the next morning when completely cooled....I brought them to work along with a few other types of cookies and these were the first to go! I am now re-printing the recipe for my collection.

yummy!

I made these for a special treat for my family. My boys were all home from college the same weekend so I prepared a few yummy treats for them. We all had a wonderful time and these were one of most requested treats.

So Easy, Quick, and Delicious

I made these for my husband's weekly mens' bible study. They were light and flaky, with a good balance between the chocolate and cream cheese. I used semi-sweet mini-morsels and sprinkled lightly with powdered sugar when they were completely cool. Because some reviewers didn't think they were sweet enough, I did add a little more sugar to the cream cheese filling. The guys absolutely LOVED them and scarfed them down like there was no tomorrow. Will definitely be added to my "go to" recipe collection!
