    Creamy Caramel Treasure Brownies

    VICKI OTT from EDINBURGH, IN

This was sooo easy! I substituted a plain caramel for the caramel treasures, which we all ready had on hand. Next time we make this, we'll roll them in chopped walnuts which we love more than pecans.

I took these to a church function and had several people ask for recipe. They couldn't believe how easy they were to make. I used regular brownie mix and used the mini-muffin pans with the liners. I cut the candy in half. Baked about 12-15 minutes. I also baked @350 instead of 325. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

    Easy and Delicious!

    Katie from Clarksville, TN

I took these to Bunco and had none left! I couldn't find the refrigerated brownies. So, I bought a brownie mix. I lined my mini-cupcake pan with liners, placed crushed pecans in the bottom of the liners, topped with brownie mix and baked according to directions on the box. Once I removed them from the oven, I cut the Treaures (caramel, peanut butter and chocolate) in half and let them melt down. Baking them in the cupcake liners was great for the evening as the ladies moved around during Bunco. They were self-contained and cut down on the messiness. This recipe is way too easy to be so delicous! I'm going to make some more right now!

    Wonderful & easy to make

marsha hacker from COTTAGE GROVE, WI

I baked these little brownie treats about 1-2 minutes less than recommended - I wanted to make sure they would be moist - much to my delight they turned out wonderful - the only problem was keeping my husband and children away from them until I could drizzle the chocolate over the tops. What a great little treat with a HUGH chocolate/caramel taste. Thank you for the recipe!

I made a full pan full of these brownies for work by spreading chopped pecans in the bottom of my pan before pouring in a brownie batter. The Nestle Treasures were placed evenly across the surface after removing from the oven. The crowd loved them and it didn't take much time to do!

I made these the other day an they came out great, but........the next time I make, I will make them in the smaller muffin tins an use peanut butter cups instead. They tasted great, but was alot to eat, the smaller muffin would be better. Also, someone mentioned that they were hard, they only "feel" hard, once you bite into it, it is just yummy.......I loved them!!!

A treat indeed this recipe is easy to produce when you are watching the clock. It works as well using other nuts. If you are lucky you just might have some to share with others but at my house, My three grandsons relieve me of anything made with chocolate. They love eating their brownie treats warm with ice cream and a dollop of whipped cream on top.

    Mini Muffin Style

    Amy Dearie from LAKELAND, FL

As a variation, you can use a normal brownie mix and divide out in a mini-muffin pan. Right after they are finished baking, you can also sub the Treasuers for chocolate caramel morsels inside to push into the brownie "muffins". Smaller bite-sized pieces work great on a brunch or dessert table! You could do this with or without the muffin liners, too. Yum!!
